Story
Scarlett and Hamilton are a sweet, playful, and affectionate pair of bonded kitties looking for their forever home together!  Scarlett is a gorgeous grey (Russian Blue mix) with super-soft fur, while Hamilton is a brown and white tabby with beautiful markings.  They both love to lounge around together, watching other kitties in their foster home and the birds outside.  Scarlett is an extremely loving, confident cat who prefers to be pet on her own terms.  She loves to play and leaves “gifts” for her foster mom, such as leaving her cat toys in the water bowl or lining them up by the door for her mom to see. Hamilton’s nickname is Hammie, and he is indeed a true ham!  He loves to talk with you and is extremely food-motivated.  He’s an affectionate gentleman who loves attention, snuggles, pets, and under-the-neck scratches.  Hammie is still a bit unsure about being held but really enjoys laps. One thing that really draws these kitties out are bird videos on YouTube. If you've got a TV or a computer where you can have YouTube playing, they love watching bird videos. Hamilton gets especially chatty when watching! Scarlett and Hamilton would do best in a home with older children — around 10 years or older.  They love other cats and are good with dogs.  Because they are shy, it might take some time and patience for them to warm up to their new family.  But once they learn to trust you, you'll be rewarded with funny, playful, sweet kitties for a lifetime! Scarlett and Hamilton were born in approximately May 2022. They have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date on their shots.  For more information, please contact Deborah at 510-909-4961 (text preferred) or at angusnfriends@outlook.com.April 18, 2024, 1:08 pm

Story
Greta is a curious and confident girl who likes to keep her people in sight. If you sit down, she will quickly find her way to your side. She takes her daily patrol duties seriously, walking the perimeter of her yard and the house twice daily. While she is used to being inside and out, you don't need to worry about her getting lost because she stays on her territory. Greta is in excellent health: She is up-to-date on vaccinations, is spayed and chipped. She comes with an automatic feeder and her favorite scratching post. She is being rehomed because the boy in her current family has developed cat allergies. She will be happiest in a home without other pets.

Story
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA:  Silver is a gorgeous Russian Blue male  who after living on his own, has adjusted to indoor life remarkably well.  He has discovered the joy of a neck massage and really knows how to lean in! He is confident, observant, and communicative, and enjoys relaxing in his cat bed on the couch.  Most striking is Silver’s gaze – he looks right into your eyes. Silver was born in approximately 2011 and is healthy, neutered, and vaccinated. As a shy boy, the right home will be with someone who has patience for a shy kitty while he transfers his trust to you, and who can spend time with him, lavishing him with love & attention.  You will be rewarded!   Watch Silver's YouTube video here: https://youtu.be/AQC4xMrik1E Silver is in a foster home in Contra Costa County, CA  To learn more about Silver, and if you have experience with ferals, please contact Marcia at mslack199@gmail.com or 510-734-9924.  April 24, 2024, 7:11 pm

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA:  Scarlett & Hamilton are a lovely bonded pair, looking for their furrever home together. They are just about a year old, a bit shy, and would love to be adopted together. They are very bonded! As explained by their foster: "It did take them a while to come into the open from their safe space under our sofa. But, once out, they have enjoyed exploring around the house. They love to play. They both love wand toys, as well as small, foam balls they can kick around the floor! Scarlett and Hamilton would do best in a home with older children, approximately 10 years or older. With their shyness, young children and their energy might be too much. But older children who enjoy playing with cats and cat toys might do fine. These kitties are both on the smaller side. Scarlett is a gorgeous grey (Russian Blue mix), and her fur is super soft! Hamilton is a tabby with beautiful markings. He really loves to play with his wand toy. One thing that really draws them out are bird videos on YouTube. Hamilton gets especially chatty when watching. So cute to watch!! Because Scarlett and Hamilton are shy, it might take some time and patience for them to warm up to their new family. But, good things come to those who are patient! Trust is the name of the game when acclimating new family members, and trust does take time. Once they know you are trustworthy, you'll be rewarded with funny, playful, sweet kitties for a lifetime!" Scarlett and Hamilton were born in approximately May 2022. They have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date on their shots. This is a Courtesy Post, and Scarlett & Hamilton are with Angus & Friends, Inc., in Castro Valley, California.
