Russian Blue kittens & cats in Palo Alto, California

We have 2 Russian Blue cats, brother & sister: Morris: Very engaging cat with our family members and especially our 12 year old daughter. Loyal & follows her around everywhere, communicates with small vocalizations. Well behaved & friendly with visitors to the house. Responds to name being called. Waiting at the door when family returns home even at unusual times. Chloe: More reserved than Morris, friendly when comfortable and greeted properly, not as active as Morris but similarly good communicator and intelligent. Both cats have been indoors.

Can YOU be the person to give two wonderful rescued cats the 1st day of the rest of their lives? Bettie and Bonito - a bonded pair of adult cats that fell in love when they lived outside. A very rare, bonded combination that will be a special addition to your family. Bettie is a gorgeous petite Russian Blue/Nebelung mix - and oh so photogenic. She has adapted to indoor living beautifully. Our vet estimates she is between 6-8 years old. Once she knows you are her person, she’ll flop over at your feet and ask to be very softly stroked from the back of her head to her tail. Her likes include bathing her best friend Bonito, watching birds and making ek-ek noises, and eating Temptations treats.  You will find Bettie snuggling and grooming Bonito often. It's heartwarming to watch how they look after each other. Bonito, on the other hand, is a big boy. A big SWEET boy. A gorgeous buff flamepoint short haired cat that we are estimating to be about 10 years old. Bonito has the appetite of Jabba the Hut, the mind of a goldfish, and the heart of a yellow lab puppy. He’s the absolute best. He isn’t particular about how you show him affection, and will even let you touch his feet. He likes getting scritches, especially in places he can’t reach. He doesn’t yet understand what kisses are, but enjoys giving gentle love bites and nibbling on exposed arms and legs. This boy LOVES treats.  He doesn’t always like that Bettie instigates play fights, but she knows he needs the exercise and secretly he does too. He enjoys Churu treats, sitting on laps, intruding on bathroom time, and long walks from the couch to the food.  Adopting this pair into your home will make their rescue story and their love affair complete. They will make wonderful family members for anyone who is looking for some kitty companionship. Living outside in Menlo Park, they were fed by a wonderful family for years. The two met on the outside and became fast friends. Bonito was brought into foster first because he was so darn friendly. There was no way he belonged outside. Once he was rescued we learned that Betty missed him terribly... so thanks to their kind hearted foster mom, Bettie and Bonito were reunited. Both are spayed/neutered and up to date on all of their vaccines. Both have had full medical examinations and are both very healthy. Given Bonito's age we had his teeth checked out and taken care of too. They are both ready for you to love on them. Graphene is a friendly cat who gets along with every other kitty at the lounge! He is patient, understanding, and fun. The way to Graphene's heart is with lots of play and food. If you give him a Churu treat, he will gently hold onto your hands, gobble it up, and declare you his new best human friend. He absolutely loves wand toys and can play for long stretches of time. He has become best friends with Clown Pants III in his time at the lounge and would love to live with him, so that they can continue their special and adorable friendship!  Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Blue is a gorgeous, playful ,and loving kitty who loves Churu and is into lots of pets. Playtime involves several stuffed mice and a string. Blue is also a cautious guy who will appreciate a quiet home and an experienced human who will continue to let him flourish. He loves sleeping on humans at night. Blue is FeLV posititve, and needs to be an indoor only cat with lots of access to water and wet food. Mercury is a handsome, quicksilver gray boy with golden eyes and a smooth little purr. He’s super soft and hard to resist showering with affection; luckily he enjoys being kissed and picked up. That said, he does have his boundaries and may nip if he has had enough, so a family who understands kitty body language would be ideal for him.  Mercury is currently a little cautious as he has recently been through changes and is learning to trust again. Even so, he has shown himself to be curious and playful. He enjoys the simple things like boxes, tunnels and wand toys. His favorite treat is a Churu which he would eat all day given the chance! When not being tempted by treats, he thoroughly enjoys a day spent sitting on a tall cat tree where he can watch birds and squirrels out the window. Mercury might take some time to warm up to new people, but once you get to know him he will show you love and affection!
