Story
Max, aka Ozzy, is sweet, calm, and gentle. He loves to relax, sit right next to you and will cuddle up. He wants to be in whatever room you are just hanging out! Gentle scratches are his favorite and he has a dignified low rumble purr! He can also be very relaxed on his own. He likes chasing a string toy, gazing out windows, and loves a catnip banana. He is a great companion, soft and huggable. He has a very plush velveteen coat and a hint of mint green to his big lovely eyes. Definitely a gentleman!Note: Max requires a specialized prescription diet to prevent urinary crystals. Primary Color: Blue Age: 5yrs 6mths 1wks

Story
Meet these wonderful sibling kittens: Bella, Jess, Gus & Pepper They are the kittens of Mama Grizzy - whom is looking for a forever home with her bonded Russian blue female kitten Anastasia. They also have another sibling Orange Tabby with Bengal named Honey. They are about 4 months old and ready for their forever home. They are currently being fostered around children and have had plenty of room to play and learn to socialize. They are very affectionate as they’ve been constantly held, handled, and loved since they were first rescued. They are beautiful. They are very special and can make great therapy companions. All of our kittens are looking for a loving and safe, forever home. They are all healthy, vaccinated, and were spayed/neutered. Are you ready to give them a forever home? Please text at 619-576-0747 or email veronica.aaofusa@gmail.com or visit our website at www.aaofus.org and complete our application at the following link: http://aaofus.org/adoption-application.html . Please allow 48 hours to process applications and respond back to set up appointments. Unfortunately, responses back to those who do not qualify are not possible due to high volume of applications. Story
What a cute face! Papa was rescued as a neighborhood stray. He appears to be a Russian Blue Mix with his short dense coat with white. He has green eyes and the cutest face! He is a big boy weighing approximately 16+ pounds and his estimated date of birth is 3/13/10. He has had a vet exam and blood work reveals he is diabetic and needs insulin injections twice a day/every 12 hours. He also tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), also known as Feline AIDS. FIV+ cats can and do live quite normal lives - in quality - in duration - and in happiness. FIV+ cats might be considered by some to be 'special needs' cats because, while they are healthy and live quite normal lives, they have tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). We now know that FIV is basically a virus whose presence has the potential to cause some weakening of a cats' immune system. It does not seem to have much impact on lifespan. We now know that this is a cat-only virus and cannot be passed to humans or to other species of animals. We have also learned that FIV does not pass to other cats through casual friendly contact. Experience, studies and the medical research community have, for numerous years now, watched positive cats live peacefully together with non-positive cats without transference. It takes a seriously deep bite wound or blood transfusion from an FIV+ cat to infect another so a typical household where cats live in harmony can blend FIV+ and FIV- cats without worry. Papa is nonassertive and nonaggressive. He gets along well with other cats. It is extremely difficult for FIV+ cats to find their forever homes, so please consider opening your home and heart to Papa. Papa is a sweet, gentle soul, very mellow and seems to get along with everything and everyone! His favorite things are to chill and hang out with you and sunning himself in the enclosed outdoor catio! He has been neutered, vaccinated and dewormed. $25 adoption fee, cash only, which is to help reimburse for a portion of expenses of cat rescue and rehabilitation. Adoption contract required. Location: Quail Valley/Menifee, Southwest Riverside County. We are looking for indoor homes for our cats and adopters who are willing and able to care for this pet for its lifetime. If interested, please email us with a little info about you, your family, your other pets, where you live, etc. and what type of cat you are looking for--indoor, outdoor, or? Thank you. Our adoption process involves meeting by appointment. We have the best interest of the animal in mind and our goal is to find a good, permanent home for each of our rescued animals. Therefore, we have the right to decline an application if we feel it is not a good match/fit or suitable home. After meeting the animal, if you want to adopt the animal and we both feel it is a good match, an application and adoption contract are completed. A convenient day/time is arranged for us to deliver the animal to its new home to do a home check (to make sure the home is safe and secure). We will give you copies of the animal's vet records including proof of spay/neuter and vaccinations and collect the adoption fee (cash only) when we deliver the animal to its new home. All our adoptions are on a trial basis because our goal is to have a successful adoption where the animal has a good permanent home for its lifetime and never ends up in a bad situation again. We ask that you give the animal a chance to adjust and settle in his new home and environment. Going to a new home with new people and a new environment is traumatic and stressful. It will take time for the animal to become comfortable around you and his/her new home. This should be a bonding period where you get to know the animal and connect with it, spend time with it and take things slow. He/she will need to get to know and trust you and learn the rules of the house and what is expected of him/her. This takes time, sometimes 2-3 weeks or more. We hold the adoption fee for one month and if the adoption is not working out, we ask that you contact us and return the animal and we will refund your adoption fee.

Story
Midnight is one of our feral barn cats that would love nothing more than to chase down those unwanted rodents! Midnight doesn't have a single friendly bone in her body and hates anything human. She'd do best on a property that doesn't need love, but needs a hunter!
