They also have another sibling Orange Tabby with Bengal named Honey. They are about 4 months old and ready for their forever home. They are currently being fostered around children and have had plenty of room to play and learn to socialize. They are very affectionate as they’ve been constantly held, handled, and loved since they were first rescued. They are beautiful. They are very special and can make great therapy companions. Mr. Darcy is all at once a sweet, regal, quirky, shy, and cuddly guy. Once he decides to trust you, he will love you forever, spending most of his time sitting on your lap, head-butting you for pets, or basking in the sun. Based on his microchip, he's 11 years old. He's pretty sedentary, except when a laser toy comes out, which he compulsively MUST chase. We're rehoming him for two reasons: 1. The main one is that we are moving across the USA soon and gets quite stressed in the car. 2. Our girl cat has started bullying him. We adopted them last year as a bonded pair, so we're not sure why this behavior has started, but the poor guy is stressed out all the time now. Mr. Darcy is looking for a quiet forever home where he can live out his later years and retirement in peace, in all of his weird and adorable glory.

The best way to get him out of his shell is to encourage him with pets and string. Once he opens up, he's a playful boy. He'll even come when he's called (at least 50% of the time and depending on his mood... he is a cat after all!). He cuddles and loves to sleep on your bed at night. During the day, he likes his alone time but as soon as the sun comes down, he is out and about and is a total love bug. Ivan gets along with other cats well. Midnight is one of our feral barn cats that would love nothing more than to chase down those unwanted rodents! Midnight doesn't have a single friendly bone in her body and hates anything human. She'd do best on a property that doesn't need love, but needs a hunter!
