❤️ Meet Barney (& his "Sister from another Mister" ~ Lennox) – A Very Special Bonded Pair ❤️**Lennox (Lennie) and Barney (Barnacle)** are an incredibly sweet, funny and affectionate pair of young cats who have become best friends. We are helping their loving family find a **permanent home where they can remain together**, as they share a very special bond. 🐾 Barney (Barnacle)**Born:** Seattle, WA & currently located in bellevue, WA.Barney was adopted from a local shelter at 3 months old. His family soon discovered that “Barney” suited him perfectly — partly because he is such a handsome boy who always seems ready for a photo shoot!Barney is easygoing, affectionate, silly and funny, with a wonderful purr. He turned out to be quite the soccer player too, making him the perfect partner for Lennie.He has also helped Lennox become more confident and adventurous, while keeping her entertained with plenty of wrestling, chase and hide-and-seek.🐾 Lennox (Lennie)**Born:** MexicoRescued from the lush island of **Río Cuale in Puerto Vallarta**, Lennox was raised in a loving foster home before coming to Wet Noses Rescue in Punta Mita, Mx. & adopted to a loving family in Bellevue, WA.Lennox was adopted from Wet Noses Rescue when she was 7 months old. Although she was initially shy, she warmed up quickly with her family and blossomed into a loving, affectionate companion.Lennie is **playful, energetic and full of personality**, but she also REALLY loves to be cuddled and loved. She enjoys following her people around, asking for pets and being held. She is sweet, quiet, silly and loves to purr, with a wonderful little sense of humor.She has always enjoyed playing with her favorite spring toys and has a hilarious talent for chasing them around like a little soccer player!Lennox gets along beautifully with other cats and has always been especially loving with her feline friends. She is also wonderful with children and has lived happily with a 7-year-old child, including all the normal noise and activity of a busy household.❤️ Together, They Are Something SpecialLennox and Barney were introduced slowly and thoughtfully, and they quickly became **inseparable**.They groom each other, eat together, play together and sleep together. They are constantly keeping an eye on one another and provide each other with companionship and confidence.Together they are a very entertaining duo. They love to play, chase their spring toys, wrestle, play hide-and-seek and simply spend time together.They are wonderfully adaptable to a busy household. They have lived happily with a 7-year-old child and are comfortable with normal household noise including conversations, cooking, dishes, vacuuming and television.Both cats are very well behaved. They use scratching posts appropriately, do not damage furniture and have learned not to jump on tables — although they do enjoy sitting on the chairs at the table!They are **healthy, happy, peaceful, soft, indoor-only cats** who are both spayed/neutered and fully vaccinated.Their family has given them an incredible amount of love, time and attention and has worked hard to make sure they are well socialized, happy and comfortable. They have also found that both cats are very flexible with litter and litter boxes and adapt easily to different setups.🏡 Why They Are Looking for a New HomeTheir family is facing multiple unexpected health challenges that have made caring for two young cats increasingly difficult. This is a **heartbreaking decision made out of love**, not because of any behavioral or medical problem with Lennox or Barney.Their family wants them to have the best care and attention possible and has asked Wet Noses Rescue to help find the right permanent home for this very special pair.To make their transition easier, their family is happy to send many of their familiar belongings with them, including **scratch posts, their mechanical litter box, dishes, toys, fluffy beds and their Katmandu cat tree**, along with other items that will help them feel at home.We are looking for a family who will appreciate what a wonderful duo these two are and, most importantly, **keep them together**.❤️ Lennox and Barney are ready to bring their playful, loving, funny personalities into their next forever home.
