Russian Blue kittens & cats in Newburgh, New York

Smoky is a man of mysteries. He is a big boy with an even bigger personality. He is comfortable with other cats/kittens, but prefers his space. He has met the foster family dog and had little interest or concern. He would be wonderful as an only cat/companion animal because he does love attention.  He's very affectionate! He loves to take naps in beams of sun, and doesn't really play that much. A quiet, chill house would be great for this guy. Smoky is FIV+ and had stomatitus. To treat this autoimmune disease, his teeth were removed and he's done much better without them. He's a good eater and loves his friskies.  We estimate his birth year to be 2017. Smoky was abandoned by his "family", who moved and left him behind. He remained in the neighborhood where he returned to his home each night and sat on the porch. We discovered his situation when a neighbor called about a colony of community cats they were feeding. Our required adoption donation is $150 per kitten or $125 per cat (older than 9 months). All our rescues are up to date on shots, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLV/Heartworm (Smoky is FIV+). They are dewormed, treated for parasites and free of fleas. Each is spayed or neutered and given a rabies vaccination.  An application must be completed to be considered to adopt from Stray HELP. Meet Nana! POLYDACTYL BLUE!! Quiet snuggly special!! Fall is here in NY so we need to get our fosters OUT and into homes here! Our bells and beaus are excited and ready to love love love you! So many amazing cuddly happy friendly and just awesome adults and babies! Lets chat about them... Nana - 5 yr old EXTRA TOES Russian Blue mix momma cat - this special girl had a rough start - pregnant with tiny tots - she was dumped at NYCACC when owner did not want to deal with yet another litter. She is SOOO sweet and snuggly and just wants to make biscuits with her huge paws and cuddle. Better in a quiet home. She is FIV+ but it is a non issue as she is healthy and can live with other cats - zero medical issues. Good with other pets but again LOVES to be solo Ella - this 1-2yr old Van Bengal mix is the epitome of sweet sweet sweet - mom to a litter who are now all adopted - she has only known love. Unfortunately her family had to move into a situation where they cannot be home much and she misses the attention - without her babies she is soo sooo lonely for love. She does not have separation anxiety she just LOVES to love. Great with other pets and kids and possible therapy cat too! Ciabatta Brioche and Pita - these 4-6m old gems are so pretty n' handsome and soooo soooo sweet that there is not much more we can say to make u love them - they love everyone they meet and are just so soft and snuggly - great as a duo or solo - Pita is very outgoing while Brioche and Ciabatta love love LOVE to be cuddlebugs - both playful happy and purrfect! Maxie - this 2yr old bombay beauty is our PURRFECT momma to the "car kids"- - Master of biscuit making? YES!! Lover? YES!! Loudest purr ever?! YES!!! This gorgeous beauty has it all. Friendly happy snuggly sweet. Good with all people and other cats - best momma ever - to the point that she mothers her people too. A princess in a licorice package. She won all of our hearts! Note that most should NOT be solo... as juveniles can still develop solo kitten syndrome which is unfixable without another cat to retrain. Pumpkin, Cinnamon, Cider, Apple, Spice, Caramel - what's more wonderful than Fall and all it's wonders? well Fall inspired 10-12 wk kittens who even match with their fur! these sweethearts are so cuddly and warm and wonderful that u will have the BEST of fall for the rest of your life with these babies in your life - All fixed and ready to go Albert, Alvin, Adam, Ally, and Annie - teeny weeny 8 wk old treasures - raised all their lives in foster! super friendly and precious - may be too small to alter at time of adoption but we are hoping for them to make weight this week!
