Story
Bubba’s journey began when he was found wandering the streets of Brooklyn wearing a faded red collar, with no family in sight. Frightened and unsure, he tucks himself away in a cozy cave bed, peeking out with his big green eyes and curious face. Despite being scared, Bubba shows his gentle heart. He allows pets on his cheeks and chin, accepts care, and slowly begins to trust. Every day, he becomes a little braver, revealing the sweet soul hidden beneath his shy exterior. With his stunning silver-gray coat, round cheeks, and quiet nature, Bubba is a truly handsome boy. He isn’t the type to demand attention; he prefers to take his time getting to know you. But once he feels safe, he melts into gentle scratches and soft affection.
Bubba is looking for a patient, loving home where he can continue to blossom at his own pace. If you’re willing to give a shy cat a chance, you’ll be rewarded with the privilege of watching him discover that he is finally safe, loved, and home.
Because Bubba is still adjusting, we do not know how he does with other cats, dogs, or young children. At this time, we think he would do best in a quiet home with experienced adopters who can give him the time and space he needs to feel safe.
Bubba is up to date on shots, dewormed, FeLV negative, microchipped, and neutered.
Please apply using the following instructions if you are interested in adopting one of our Waggytails: Visit our website (www.waggytailrescue.org) for an adoption application. It is important to fill out an application as soon as possible for consideration, and we require a complete application for you to meet an animal. We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the cat is on our website, they are still available.
Waggytail Rescue CANNOT guarantee the exact age of any adoptable cat, or final size of any of our adoptable kittens. We rely on the information provided to us by veterinarians, shelters, owner surrenders and other circumstances bringing the cat into our rescue.
