Russian Blue kittens & cats in Walden, New York

Smoky is a man of mysteries. He is a big boy with an even bigger personality. He is comfortable with other cats/kittens, but prefers his space. He has met the foster family dog and had little interest or concern. He would be wonderful as an only cat/companion animal because he does love attention.  He's very affectionate! He loves to take naps in beams of sun, and doesn't really play that much. A quiet, chill house would be great for this guy. Smoky is FIV+ and had stomatitus. To treat this autoimmune disease, his teeth were removed and he's done much better without them. He's a good eater and loves his friskies.  We estimate his birth year to be 2017. Smoky was abandoned by his "family", who moved and left him behind. He remained in the neighborhood where he returned to his home each night and sat on the porch. We discovered his situation when a neighbor called about a colony of community cats they were feeding. Our required adoption donation is $150 per kitten or $125 per cat (older than 9 months). All our rescues are up to date on shots, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLV/Heartworm (Smoky is FIV+). They are dewormed, treated for parasites and free of fleas. Each is spayed or neutered and given a rabies vaccination.  An application must be completed to be considered to adopt from Stray HELP. My name is Prince! Foster mama tells me I come about my name because I'm slightly bratty and don't have too many manners but she holds out hope that I'll grow into the name of the fantastical, amazing and talented musician formerly known as Prince. I say, I'm already on my way!  I am sweet, playful, fun and energetic. I make friends easily and love to wrestle. My ideal home has companion animals and a family that needs lots of supervision: sweeping is a biggy - I can chase that broom around all over the room! Napping also need lots of supervision. I can locate a moving toe under blankets in no time flat. Cleaning the litter box, reading, yoga - you name it, I'm there. We estimate Prince's birthday to be June 28, 2024. Prince was rescued from the City of Poughkeepsie, NY as he lay in front of a resident's porch alone and gravely ill.  Our required adoption donation is $150 per kitten or $125 per cat (older than 9 months). Meet Oasis is a dream of grey and snuggles! This week we have some special sisters... from the aftermath of the hurricane, 7 sisters have emerged from a small Georgia shelter, left after their owner became homeless and had to move away. She pleaded that they would find the best of the best new homes and of course we could leave none behind. Each is sweeter than the next and they are still only big kittens. Love EVERYONE - kids cats dogs and gentle as can be. Truly special and full of love. Here is more info on each... Oakley - Tortico SUPERMODEL! The prettiest girl with the sweetest personality to go along with the floof! Friendliest girl ever and loves to give kisses! Video is just a snippet of her loving personality and love of children - therapy sweet! Oana - Can you say GORGEOUS and soooo unique - well that's Oana - Torbico - a rainbow of love and cuddliness! She's got the prettiest markings and the prettiest soul! True lover girl! Oane - Russian blue with some floof - wow can she be any prettier?! Absolutely the sweetest and gorgeous girl - so exotic looking!! totally spectacular sweetheart and just purrfect in everyway! Loves cuddles ! Oanelle - Bengal Van mixed with WOW webbed feet - meaning she can swim (if she wanted)! But what is so magical is that she is an ideal therapy cat for any age - she loves to be carried and snuggled and to snuggle back! She is ideal girl for anyone who just wants love! Oceana - Supermodel perfection but also a total goofy girl! Sweetest eyes and such a GREAT fun personality - dog like! But also is so patient and loving! Truly one of our favs in a group of lovers! Oasis - Blue snuggle bug who can't wait to get on your lap and stay put! She is playful and fun but gentle and soft! Gorgeous colors and EYES! Meet Berkeley is the smartest handsomest sweetest boy! Our Kentucky partner and fosters are filled this week with the prettiest sweetest and ready to adopt cuties. Meet Bluey is a CHONKY beauty inside and out! VIDEO! Sometimes kittens are our favs... sometimes cats that are slightly older (or sometimes A LOT older) are even better! Let's talk about all of them individually: Goliath - 3 yr Ragdoll Van Maine Coon mix- this SUPER HANDSOME CHONK has the BEST personality - he just is non stop sunshine! happy and friendly - u will think he is a dog. raised with kids in the home and no issues whatsoever - loves loves loves to love you - can't be any sweeter Bluey - 3 yr old chonky Blue beauty all the way from KY- we like to think of her as a "nanny" cat as she adores everyone she's with and takes care of you too. Lap lovin' girl. Loves to be a solo cat too without complaints so she can get ALL the love! She loves to hang out with her family - mother to all- therapy sweet! Thumper - 1 yr old Bengal mix beauty with one back leg deformed from birth - a sad start but no tears from this gorgeous guy - he is sweet charming and absolutely stunning - lived with dogs cats kids and nothing phases this beauty who is just love and cuddles - darn cool!
