SHOULDER RIDER  DOB 10/31/22 Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Angel, a.k.a. Uncle Angel to the younger foster kittens because I’m so nurturing and protective. I’m a sweet, quiet, and affectionate solid-gray Russian Blue/ Chartreux mix fella with big round copper-penny eyes who adores my foster meowmy and shows my affection by cuddling with her or perching on her shoulder. I’m a playful fella who enjoys romping with the other foster cats and kittens, and I’m an enthusiastic fan of wand toys like Da Bird. I also like to keep a watchful eye that the older kittens behave and don’t play too rough with little Janie. The top of the cat tree is my favorite vantage for me to rule as king of my domain! My hooman surrendered me to the vet for euthanasia because I had really unsightly skin lesions on my chest and tummy. Fortunately the vet diagnosed that I did not have cancer but severe flea allergies. The vet turned to my future Foster Meowmy to ask if she could find me a new home, and she stepped up to the plate like a champ. I’m pleased to report that after several months of being on Bravecto 3-month flea preventative and ZD prescription food, my skin is completely clear. I’m back to my stunningly handsome Russian Blue self again! True confessions: for the rest of my life I’ll likely have to eat prescription ZD food and promptly receive my flea preventative in order to prevent my skin allergy from raising its ugly head again. HOLD ME LIKE A BABY AND RUB MY BELLY  DOB 9/1/23 Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Dusty B, a loving, cuddly, yet playful Russian Blue mix fella who luxuriates when Foster Meowmy holds me like a baby and rubs my tummy. I love playing with ping-pong balls as well as chasing wand toys and running through the kitty tunnel. It’s also fun to hide in the tunnel and scare my sisters when I ambush them! If you’re wondering about my bi-line #garage-gang, it doesn’t refer to the group of Italian hip-hop musical artists. When we were about 10 weeks old, my orphaned sisters, Pickles and Cricket, and I wandered into a nice lady’s garage to stay warm during a Houston cold snap. Lucky for us that she’s a very kind HOPE foster meowmy, who was surprised to find us one morning and brought us inside. We were much too young to be fending for ourselves in the hardscrabble life of outdoor strays. We’re delighted to no longer be living paw-to-mouth, to be safe from cars and predators, and to be living in a climate-controlled environment. FELINE CHATTY CATHY DOLL  DOB 5/3/23 Was the Chatty Cathy doll your favorite? Remember – you pulled her string and she started chatting? If you treasured Chatty Cathy, I’ll be right up your alley! Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Puffy, a sweet but very vocal Russian Blue mix gal who “talked” the whole time during my recent vet exam. (I was a little nervous to be away from home.) Although I was entertaining Foster Meowmy and the entire vet staff, the only way they could get me to stop “talking” was to let me lick Churu squeezable treats off their fingers. I’m somewhat of an active tomboy who likes to chase DaBird wand toy. And I enjoy tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with my #furry-five siblings. When we’re thoroughly exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. Momma sought shelter from a bad May rain storm inside the garage of the local cat lady who feeds the neighborhood strays. To the cat lady’s surprise when she went out to her garage the next morning, Momma was waiting inside a cat condo with our litter of tiny newborns. The nice cat lady brought us inside, christened Momma “Surprise,” and became our foster meowmy. Now I’m in the market for my forever home and would make a wonderful addition to almost any family. LOVES TO SLEEP ON HIS BACK  DOB 4/15/23 They say a cat who sleeps on his back really trusts his hoomans and feels comfortable in his surroundings.  That’s certainly the case with me, Grayson, a sweet, affectionate, outgoing, and inquisitive Russian Blue mix fella. In fact, I not only sleep on my back but also in such odd positions that Foster Meowmy wonders how could I ever be comfortable. I've overheard Foster Meowmy tell someone that I'm "gorgeous." But I'm not just eye candy! No siree! I'm a loving guy who snuggles right next to her hip for a long nap. I’m also a frisky dude who will play soccer with anything – be it catnip mice, fuzzy balls with bells, wand toys, or household items like paper clips and bottle caps. And of course, I tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my four brothers. (Our sister doesn’t like to rough-house with the gang.) I was born to a feral momma whom Foster Meowmy eventually trapped, spayed, and returned into her neighborhood. When we were ready to be weaned, Foster Meowmy snapped up my #dark-n-shady-six litter and brought us inside to safety and to socialize us for our future fantastic homes.   DOB 5/20/23 Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Ryan, a friendly, outgoing, extremely playful Russian Blue mix fella who’s an expert “shoulder rider.” This means that when Foster Meowmy picks me up and carries me, I always manage to climb up to perch on her shoulder so I can see everything better. To show my delight at my new world perspective, I turn on my purr motor, which sounds like a perking coffeepot in Meowmy’s ear. I play nonstop all day. Foster Meowmy has witnessed that I literally bounce off the walls of the kitty tunnel-condo. I have a great self-image and consider myself equal to playing with the adult resident kitties, especially the one who will wrestle with me. I love to play with any 2-legged or 4-legged critter, even if they are not a willing participant. I’m still leery of the resident dogs, but it won’t be long before I’ll warm up to them once I confirm their friendliness. You see, Foster Meowmy found me as an orphan kitten who was sitting on the curb of a busy street before a bad thunderstorm. Thank heavens I got her  attention because I was screaming at the sky, and she snatched me up and brought me home. Since I had no litter mates to play with, I was forced into reaching out to the resident kitties for my entertainment. I definitely will need at least one feline buddy to play with me when I arrive at my forever home. Arrange to meet me today!
