LOVES TO MAKE BISCUITS  DOB 5/5/23 Are you familiar with Ted Lasso, the American football coach who uses his folksy, optimistic leadership to coach a British soccer team in the TV series by the same name? My Foster Meowmy loves Ted’s charm and humor, so she decided to name me Ted Lasso because I love to make biscuits like he does! I’m an extremely friendly and curious, slightly fluffy Russian Blue mix fella who likes to climb up on the bed to cuddle with my foster parents. But I'm no couch potato! No sirree! I love to play with balls with bells, catnip mice, and interactive wand toys. And of course, I tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my brothers Jamie Tartt and Roy Kent, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. We three boys were born to a feral momma who was trapped, spayed, and released when we were about a month old. Thank heavens future Foster Meowmy responded to the trapper’s plea to socialize us so we could have enriched indoor lives. FELINE CHATTY CATHY DOLL  DOB 5/3/23 Was the Chatty Cathy doll your favorite? Remember – you pulled her string and she started chatting? If you treasured Chatty Cathy, I’ll be right up your alley! Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Puffy, a sweet but very vocal Russian Blue mix gal who “talked” the whole time during my recent vet exam. (I was a little nervous to be away from home.) Although I was entertaining Foster Meowmy and the entire vet staff, the only way they could get me to stop “talking” was to let me lick Churu squeezable treats off their fingers. I’m somewhat of an active tomboy who likes to chase DaBird wand toy. And I enjoy tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with my #furry-five siblings. When we’re thoroughly exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. Momma sought shelter from a bad May rain storm inside the garage of the local cat lady who feeds the neighborhood strays. To the cat lady’s surprise when she went out to her garage the next morning, Momma was waiting inside a cat condo with our litter of tiny newborns. The nice cat lady brought us inside, christened Momma “Surprise,” and became our foster meowmy. Now I’m in the market for my forever home and would make a wonderful addition to almost any family.   DOB 5/20/23 Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Ryan, a friendly, outgoing, extremely playful Russian Blue mix fella who’s an expert “shoulder rider.” This means that when Foster Meowmy picks me up and carries me, I always manage to climb up to perch on her shoulder so I can see everything better. To show my delight at my new world perspective, I turn on my purr motor, which sounds like a perking coffeepot in Meowmy’s ear. I play nonstop all day. Foster Meowmy has witnessed that I literally bounce off the walls of the kitty tunnel-condo. I have a great self-image and consider myself equal to playing with the adult resident kitties, especially the one who will wrestle with me. I love to play with any 2-legged or 4-legged critter, even if they are not a willing participant. I’m still leery of the resident dogs, but it won’t be long before I’ll warm up to them once I confirm their friendliness. You see, Foster Meowmy found me as an orphan kitten who was sitting on the curb of a busy street before a bad thunderstorm. Thank heavens I got her  attention because I was screaming at the sky, and she snatched me up and brought me home. Since I had no litter mates to play with, I was forced into reaching out to the resident kitties for my entertainment. I definitely will need at least one feline buddy to play with me when I arrive at my forever home. Arrange to meet me today! SWEET TOMBOY  DOB 5/15/23 Hi!  My name is Stormy. I’m a girl, but I’m a tomboy. I am strong willed, intelligent, but oh so sweet and purry. I like other cats to play with. I’ve heard of something called a dog, but haven’t ever seen one. If you have one that’s nice to me, I’m sure we will become best buddies. Meet Ms. or Lady Griddlebones! She cannot get enough pets and affection. She will rub and roll and rub against her human for more. She likes her food, too, and has a bit of a cute pudge around her middle. She hardly seems to shed! Low maintenance for grooming. This young lady is OK with other cats but would also be OK as a single kitty - queen of her domain. Her favorite lounging place is on top of her cat tree looking out a window into the world. She will play independently and is quite content to chase her own tail on occasion despite having an array of toys, but, once her human is back, she really just wants affection more than anything. She came to us with a skin infection and digestive issues. These were caused by a food allergy. It took some time and trial and error to find the right food. She is on a limited ingredient rabbit formula and is thriving. This food is more expensive, and the adopter will need to commit to providing this food for her entire life.
