Meet Andujar Michelle born about February 2020. Andujar Michelle was part of a large rescue of over 35 cats and dogs. Their caregiver was an avid animal lover who sadly suffered from mental illness and ended up taking her own life. It was quickly obvious to us that she poured a lot of love into her pets. We couldn't let them all go to the shelter so we were able to get them all into foster care!Andujar is a very sweet and quiet boy who wags his tail like a dog and loves to play. His favorite toys are stuffed catnip mice and the tunnel. He enjoys leaving the mice scattered about the house, tearing open the tummies, running through the tunnel with the mice, and leaving them in the water bowl to make catnip tea. He loves to be petted, but is shy at first and needs time to adjust. He likes to be in the room with you and next to you, but not on you. He is not a picky eater, and enjoys dry and wet cat food, not so much treats. He gets along well with other cats, usually being the less dominant cat. He does well around dogs, almost automatically unfazed by his foster's dog. So, he's be fine with another friendly pet. He would do well in a house with other cats, but also in a house where he is the only cat, because he usually plays alone with his mice. He enjoys sunbathing on the sun porch. Andujar is also quite the night owl, usually sleeping most of the day, and playing all night. He is litter box trained and very sweet. Meet Snippet born February 2022. Boy? Girl? Both? Both! Snippet is definitely an interesting kitty! Snippet had both male and female parts but has been fixed and is referred to as male. After being surrendered to Fort Worth animal control and being posted for rescue for a month, Saving Hope saw Snippet and their journey began. Snips is looking for a forever family that is looking for a special needs cat and wants to give love, attention and care to an overlooked cat!Snips, as foster mom calls them, is a fun loving, quirky kitty. Snips is much like a toddler, very demanding of attention, but shows so much love in return. Loves being held and lives lap time. He was born with a few birth defects, but that does not slow him down one bit! Snippet runs, plays, climbs, and leads a very normal life. He will need routine vet visits to make sure everything is working correctly. Snips has luxating patellas on his back legs, but gets around just fine. He is kennel trained and prefers to eat there. He is on a sensitive food diet and can occasionally have tummy issues but not often. Don't let Snip's special needs status scare you. This kitty can hold his own with other cats and dogs and would love some friends to play with. She is not crazy about other cats, but she is very at ease with the dogs in the home. So, she'd prefer a home with a friendly dog over a kitty. Her favorite time of day is when her foster breaks out the fancy feast cans. She loves her wet food. She's pretty chill and is a sweet girl. Meet Luna Del Ray, a beautiful Russian Blue Mix, born approx 2019. Luna was left at a shelter after her owner said she had stopped eating. Her fur was matted, and she had been neglected. After a proper grooming and dental cleaning, she has blossomed into a sweet, confident princess! Luna is now looking for a true forever home! If you are looking for a smart, affectionate, and playful kitty, Luna is your girl! She loves people and is very outgoing. When you get home, she will greet you with her raspy meow, rub on your legs, and then lay right next to you while you watch tv. Luna's three favorite things, besides people, are catnip toys, cat trees, and drips from the bathtub. She loves being petted and is a great biscuit maker! Meet Gracie Anne! Gracie is a beautiful Russian Blue mix born in December 2022. Gracie was discovered in a soda box at a park in Dallas after being hit by a car. She was in rough shape, but now she is all healed up and ready for a forever home where she can be the center of attention. Gracie was not ear-tipped, but the tip of her ear did fall off as a result of her injuries. She is slowly regrowing the fur where it was shaved for her leg to be reconstructed.Gracie is a cuddly cat who loves to eat. She is very gentle with other cats and kittens. Meet Caprese! This adventurous cuddle bug with gorgeous green eyes, born on March 25th 2024. She's very prim and proper, always sitting very tall with her little feet together. She's an absolute purr bug too, she loves to climb all over your lap for pets and cuddles. Belly rubs and kisses are A-Okey for this baby, she's very relaxed and affectionate! She also loves exploring and playing with her littermates! She would do great in a house with other kitties, maybe even one of her own siblings!
