DEUCE IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE HE IS ADOPTED! This is DEUCE. He is a gorgeous striped tabby. He will need a special patient person as he is still extremely shy.  With the right amount of patience, he will make a great kitty in a quiet home.  He is very food motivated.  He is not recommended for dogs or children. He would probably do best with a gentle outgoing companion to help him get out of his shell. He  is neutered, has had all age appropriate vaccines, microchip, and a confirmed NEGATIVE FIV/FeLV test.  His adoption fee of $295 also includes the transport to VA.  We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring her up north once she is adopted. We got Kenji about 7 years ago as a kitten. He gets along very well with my dog who is a small 8lb mini pin mix. He is very sweet and curious but is very shy around strangers. It takes him a little while to get used to them but then he will happily come up to you and get pets. He likes to sunbathe but is an inside cat only. He is scared of going outside without someone nearby and would love somewhere with a closed in patio that he can sunbathe in. He doesn't mind being picked up and held but prefers not to be. He prefers a sleeping area that's inclosed. He doesn't mind children and doesn't mind dogs smaller than him but he seems scared of dogs who are the same size or bigger than him. I have never had another cat so we don't know how he is with other cats.
