Mouse is a sweet, gentle boy with a soft voice and an even softer heart. His journey hasn’t been easy—he was once thrown from a car and landed in the yard of the person who became his loving owner. When that guardian recently moved to assisted living and couldn’t take him along, Mouse found himself searching for a new family to adore.This handsome couch potato loves nothing more than curling up with his people for snuggles. He’s affectionate, purry, and happiest when he’s receiving chin and head scratches. With familiar faces, he’s a total lap cat—but he may be shy with new visitors until he feels safe.Mouse is an independent soul who entertains himself but also treasures companionship. He enjoys supervised outdoor adventures on a leash and harness and would thrive with access to a screened-in or 4-season porch where he can watch the world go by. Born: June 01, 2025 Adoption Donation: $350 My litter includes: Fiona and Mr. Fancy All cats are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, and FeLV/FIV tested at the time of adoption. An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of your appointment (unless your dog has had prior exposure to cats).  A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble.
