Madame Jeanette's story began under a woodpile, where she and her litter were born and raised with little to no human interaction before they came to the shelter. Frightened and a little spicy at first, the kittens were fittingly named after peppers! Despite her timid beginnings, Madame Jeanette was one of the first of her siblings to discover that people aren't so scary after all.
