Pickles is a 4-year-old, 35 lb Saluki/Pointer mix with a striking white and black coat. She’s a friendly and well-mannered lady who adores people of all ages and gets along with other dogs. She’s gentle and easygoing, making her a wonderful companion for the right family. Pickles is kennel trained and has a medium energy level, enjoying walks (currently in leash training) and car rides in her crate. She’s not a barker, isn’t food aggressive, and isn’t destructive—just a calm, happy pup who thrives with love and a little space to roam. She’d do best in a home with a yard but is flexible and can adapt to apartment living. Pickles is a rescue from Kuwait and spent most of her time in a large pack. Hi, Im Dexter, five years old, part Saluki, part cuddle expert, and full-time goofball. I was rescued as a puppy, and ever since then I have been perfecting the art of being both an adventurer and a professional snuggler. I am the kind of dog who can keep it cool around just about anything, but give me the outdoors and I turn into a full-on explorer, nose down, checking every piece of dog mail like it is breaking news. I have got my manners down too, I know my cues, I am crate trained, and I handle new places, people, and everyday chaos like a pro. My dream life is simple: a home that loves fresh air, a little adventure, and a dog who will make you laugh and then curl up right next to you like he has always belonged there. I was found on the streets unable to move (not ideal), but after surgery and a whole lot of determination, I said “no thanks” to that ending and got back on my feet—literally.
