Hey there, I’m Zazu — part-time running coach, full-time heartthrob! Before I found the shelter life, I made it my mission to join every jogger I could find, because why run alone when you can have a charming sidekick like me? Turns out, I was a stray just looking for my pack, and now I’m hoping my forever running buddy (that’s you!) will take me home. I’m a people-loving, adventure-craving, tail-wagging bundle of energy who just wants to keep up with your active lifestyle. Sure, I share my space with a few canine roommates, but what really gets my tail wagging is following humans around like it’s my full-time job. I’m about 4 years old, medium-sized, and fully ready to sprint straight into your heart! I'm still in Bahrain, but will be traveling to TTDR in May. I hope to meet you soon!

Story
Meet Chachi! This beautiful, sweet, and spirited 3-year-old rescue has come a long way since we took her in over two years ago. When we adopted her, she had been malnourished, abused, and evicted; but with time and love, she’s blossomed into a hilariously expressive, intelligent, and incredibly affectionate companion. Chachi is high-energy, deeply loyal, and full of personality, but she also has special needs due to past trauma. She’s fearful of strangers (may pee when scared), has leash aggression toward unfamiliar dogs, and struggles with separation anxiety (barks when left alone). Because she missed key training in her early life, she needs a patient, experienced owner who can provide her with what she needs better than we can. Her ideal home would be with someone skilled in training reactive dogs, who has a secure backyard and can give her the time and understanding she deserves. If this is you, Chachi would be very lucky to have you as her next owners.
