Story
Lomy is a Shepherd/Saluki mix born on 5/1/24 and weighing approximately 42 pounds. This handsome tan boy has a gentle soul and an easygoing personality that is hard not to love.
If you are looking for a calm, affectionate companion, Lomy may be the perfect match. Hes laid-back, low-key, and happiest spending time with his people. As he settles into foster care, he is becoming more confident living indoors and is learning what it means to be part of a family. He is doing wonderfully with house training and has even started letting his foster know when he needs to go outside!
Lomy is kennel trained, walks nicely on a leash, rides well in the car when crated, and is not destructive or barky. He has a medium energy level, making him a great fit for a variety of homes. A small yard is just fine as long as he gets consistent daily walks and time to explore the world with you. He would also do well in an urban setting, as he is not overly bothered by loud noises or exploring new outdoor places like parks, neighborhoods, or city streets.
Lomy gets along well with adults, children over the age of 8, and other dogs. While he does not require another dog in the home, he would do best with a calm, gentle canine companion if one is already there.
Lomy is neutered, easy to handle, not food aggressive, and has a sweet, affectionate nature that shines more each day. He is ready to find a family that will continue helping him blossom.
If you are ready to welcome a loyal, loving companion into your life, Lomy is ready to meet you!
