Story
🏠 Currently in a Vancouver foster homeCotton is a 10-month-old Samoyed–Spitz mix weighing around 10kg, with fluffy fur and the sweetest smiling face. True to the name “Cotton,” this beautiful pup has a soft, warm presence that instantly melts hearts. The way Cotton looks up at people with a wagging tail and bright eyes makes it impossible not to fall in love.Cotton was rescued from a city shelter just before euthanasia. Despite experiencing such a difficult start at such a young age, Cotton has never lost trust in people. This pup is incredibly affectionate, gentle, and full of bright energy. Cotton absolutely loves human companionship and is happiest simply being near people — following them around, asking for attention, and greeting everyone with excitement and love.Cotton also gets along very well with other dogs. With a friendly and easygoing personality, this pup adapts well to social environments and could do wonderfully in a home with another dog companion. However, Cotton is still very much a puppy. At only 10 months old and currently around 10kg, there is still plenty of growing left to do. Future adopters should keep in mind that Cotton may continue to grow both in size and strength as maturity approaches. Most importantly, Cotton has never experienced life in a real home before. Having grown up in a shelter environment, everyday routines such as house training, leash manners, learning to stay home alone, and understanding household rules are all still new experiences. Like any young puppy, Cotton may have accidents, bursts of energy, playful curiosity, and moments of clumsy learning along the way. These are not “problem behaviors,” but simply part of growing up and learning about the world. Cotton needs a family who understands that patience, guidance, and consistency are essential during this stage of life. With love and time, Cotton will grow into an incredibly loyal and loving companion who bonds deeply with the people trusted most.Cotton is the kind of dog who shines brighter the more love is given. This sweet pup brings warmth, joy, and happy energy wherever they go. Still young, playful, and full of life, Cotton is waiting for a family who will cherish not only the beautiful appearance, but also the tender heart behind those smiling eyes. Once, Cotton almost lost the chance at life. Now, this special pup is hoping to find a forever family who will never let go again 🤍

Story
Hi! I‘m Milo - a 4-year-old Samoyed/Husky mix looking for an experienced owner who‘s ready to match my energy and my needs. I‘m loyal, athletic and I genuinely thrive when I have a person who‘s committed to working with me consistently. I know my commands (sit, down, stop, heel, come, mark/hop etc.) and do well with structured training. I love runs (but only 3-4km), adventures, and being your sidekick - and I’m equally happy winding down on a rainy of good day outside. Where I need the right fit: I‘m reactive to dogs on leash, so I do best in a lower-traffic environment - think spacious yard, quieter neighborhood, or rural/suburban setting without constant dog congestion. You should be someone who‘s had dogs before, be willing to learn or understand that reactivity is manageable (not a flaw), and can offer me consistent calm leadership. If that sounds like your life, I’m ready to be your dog and best friend! I‘m currently in BC, Canada, but can be transported elsewhere in Canada or the continental US.

Story
Meet Max: Three Legs, One Big Heart 🐾❤️Hi, I’m Max, a 5 year old, 53 lb Husky who’s living proof that you don’t need four legs to live your best life.My story starts in Lebanon, where I was found with gunshot wounds so severe my leg had to be amputated. I was alone, in pain, and had been through more than any dog should ever endure. An incredible team of animal rescuers found me, refused to give up on me, and fought hard to get me every bit of care I needed. That journey brought me all the way here, and I’ve never looked back. 💛I lost one of my legs, but honestly? You’d barely know it. I hike, I explore, I roam and I do it all at an easy, unhurried pace that makes every outing feel like a good idea. My favorite thing in the world is a good sniff walk where I can take my time and smell absolutely everything. 🌲🍃With people, I am pure sweetness. I love meeting new faces — strangers become friends fast with me. I’m affectionate, treat-motivated (beef liver is a personal favorite! 🤤), and I will reward your patience with so much loyalty. 🐾I love checking out my surroundings, sitting up on an elevated spot to watch the world go by, and going on sniff walks where I can lead the way and explore. I’m independent and easygoing. I don’t need constant entertainment. I’m happy just being part of the family, whether that’s trotting beside you on a leisurely hike 🌲, joining a camping trip 🏕️, or quietly hanging out at home getting pets. I love the couch and a good fuzzy bed too. 🛋️With other dogs, I’m genuinely social. I do zoomies, I pack walk, I hang out in the yard with the crew — I just love being part of the family🐕 I’m not a rough player, but I make friends easily and do best with calm or medium energy dogs who have good manners. With cats, I can do well with confident cats who are comfortable around dogs. I’m curious and playful rather than predatory. A cat who holds their ground is the right match for me. 🐱I do best in a home with a fenced yard where I can wander, sniff, and explore. 🌿 Apartment life may not be the best fit for me.If you’re someone who enjoys having an independent soul dog, loves getting out in the outdoors, and wants a one-of-a-kind adventure buddy, I think we’d make a pretty great team. 🐾❤️Reach out to PawesomeBaby to make me family!—-—————-Max is currently being fostered by an amazing family in Seattle. He’s available for in-person meetups for WA and BC adoptions. We also adopt to Alaska — we cover the transportation. All we ask is the adoption fee and a loving forever family he can count on!Check out the Instagram story highlights at @PawesomeBaby for more pictures and videos. 📸🐾Age: 5 yrsSex: Male, neuteredVaccination: Current on core vaccinesHeartworm: NegativeSpecial needs: Three legsNeeds: Fenced yardThank you for choosing to adopt a rescue dog! Story
Hi, I’m Misty 💛 I’m a 3-year-old girl, a Border Collie–Samoyed mix, and I weigh about 17kg. People often notice my soft, fluffy coat first… but my favorite little charm? One of my ears folds slightly—it’s my special signature look 😊 I was rescued from a shelter where my time was almost up, but you wouldn’t know it if you met me. I’m bright, happy, and full of love. I really love people. Even if we’ve just met, I’ll come right up to you like we’ve known each other forever. I love attention, I love affection, and I love sharing little moments together. I’m also great with other dogs! I get along well with my furry friends and don’t like conflict—I’d much rather play and enjoy good company. If you like going on walks or playing together, I’ll be so happy. And after we’ve had our fun? I’m just as happy to rest quietly by your side. I have a nice balance of energy—I can be active, but I also know how to relax at home. I’m still learning what it means to live in a home. Things like potty habits and house rules might be new to me, but I’m a smart girl (that Border Collie side of me helps!), and I learn quickly when someone is patient and consistent with me. I don’t need perfection. I don’t need everything to be ready from the start. I just need someone who will understand me, teach me gently, and stay by my side as I learn. Because I’m already ready to love you. All I’m waiting for… is a family who will love me back, and give me a place to finally belong. Will you be family? 💛
