Meet Kaiser! Kaiser is a gorgeous and energetic boy looking for a family that appreciates silliness and unconditional affection. He is about 4 years old. Here’s what his foster says about him: “We have been fostering Kaiser the past two weeks and we just adore him to pieces. Kaiser is playful, active, confident and teachable. Perfect for someone looking for a walking/running/hiking buddy. He is extremely human-friendly and would flop over for belly rub anytime anywhere. Kai is very food motivated, loves hoses and sprinklers, a very gentle eater, is fully crate trained, housebroken, doesn’t play fetch and doesn’t appear to have any separation anxiety. No issues with kids as far as we can tell. ❤️ But Kai gets jumpy and reactive when there are cats/lizards/squirrels around. He has a very strong prey drive and the wolf in him goes full throttle when he senses a potential prey is near. This means Kai would do best in a home with no cats or small animals, though he may do fine with the right dog. Moreover, he needs plenty of space to roam. His ideal human is someone who is patient, physically strong, understanding and knowledgeable in helping him manage his prey drive.” One of our volunteers has been spending time with Kai and has brought his samoyed along plenty of times and they got along great. He also did well at the shelter with some dogs. This is why we’re calling him dog-selective. If you’d like to meet Kaiser, please submit an adoption application on our website 🦴🐾 His current foster is leaving the country in 3 weeks so we would love to find him a home before then!

Archie is 3 years old and is the most cuddly boy with excellent manners. He is potty trained completely and will sleep through the whole night and ask for belly scratches in the morning! He loves a morning and evening walk and constantly checks back with you to make sure you’re keeping up! He likes to have the backyard, but most enjoys just being with humans and taking walks! Archie is very gentle and practically licks a treat out of your hand. He is a dream while being groomed and prances around after! With a standard introduction, Archie is great with cats! He is also very friendly and social with anyone who says hi to him and especially loves seeing other dogs!

Meet Rocky 🤍 Rocky is a stunning, confident samoyed/husky (we think) who has already beaten the odds. He was part of a group of 5-6 dogs surviving together in a park until a kind woman stepped in and saved not just him—but his two companions, Jett and Frannie. Rocky naturally took on the role of leader for the trio. He’s confident, aware, and looks out for his friends—but he’s not pushy or difficult. With people, he’s affectionate, social, and loves attention. He’s the kind of dog that turns heads everywhere he goes and then wins hearts the second you meet him. He walks well on leash, enjoys being out and about, and truly thrives when he has a person to connect with. At home, he’s a big, cuddly husky who would happily relax near you after getting his exercise. Rocky does well with other dogs, especially those with more easygoing or non-dominant personalities. Because he’s used to being the leader, he does best with dogs who don’t challenge him. Rocky is bonded with Jett and closely connected to Frannie, and it would be incredible to see him adopted with Jett, or even all three together. That said, we understand that’s a big ask, and Rocky can be placed on his own in the right home. Rocky will need a home that understands the breed—he’s active, intelligent, and will need proper exercise, structure, and a secure yard (he can be an escape artist if bored or under-stimulated). What you’ll get in return is a truly special dog—loyal, engaging, and full of personality. Best case: Rocky + Jett Dream case: Rocky + Jett + Frannie Also possible: Rocky as a single dog in the right home Rocky has already made it through so much. Now he just needs someone to say yes.
