Story
Mayo is a 1-2 year old purebred Samoyed rescued from Korea. She is now in the bay area while we look for her forever home. She is spayed, healthy, up to date on vaccinations, playful, energetic, and very-puppy like.Mayo needs adopters who are home most of the day and work from home, as she cannot be left alone for long periods. At this time, we are only considering adopted located in the Bay Area.She will do best in a house with a secure, spacious yard. She is fully pee-pad trained and is friendly with other dogs. After fostering, we've learned she thrives with a canine companion, so we are prioritizing adopter s with at least one dog (large preferably) and a house with fenced yard. No apartments or kids.Because she is still adjusting to home life, Mayo needs experienced dog owners, ideally those familiar with Samoyed or similar breeds. She cannot be left unattended for the first few months while she is adapting.Please apply if Mayo sounds like a good fit.

A medium- to high-energy dog and in her excitement to be out of her kennel, she does pull a bit so a strong and patient handler would help her get the training and exercise she needs. She does love to play with and fetch toys! While she loves the large squeaky stuffies, she seems to be a digger hiding her prized possessions!Once she's a bit tired out, she'll sit by you for pets. In fact, she seems to understand the "sit" command.
