Story
Meet Dany– Sweet & Social Samoyed Looking for a Loving Home Dany is a beautiful 6-year-old Samoyed with a friendly, people-loving personality. She has a medium build and a playful, affectionate nature. Dani absolutely loves being around people and is great with kids and other dogs. She’s social, enjoys walks, staying active, and will happily greet you (sometimes with a little excited jump!). Dany would do best in a home without cats, as she is not cat-friendly. She is fully vaccinated, healthy, and has no medical issues. During grooming, she can be sensitive about her back end being brushed, but with treats and patience she does just fine. She has a chicken sensitivity, which can cause diarrhea, so a chicken-free diet works best for her. Dany is a wonderful companion who thrives on attention and being part of a family. She is being rehomed due to an upcoming move, and we are focused on finding her a safe, loving forever home as soon as possible. Location: Los Angeles Rehoming Type

Story
Adoptable Henry is ready for his forever home! He came to us in rough shape, but he’s come a long way. He’s been neutered, had entropion surgery, and is fully recovered! Henry is still learning to trust the world. He will need some training and we will include the initial training session with his adoption! He can be insecure and easily startled, but once he settles in he’s goofy, loving, and very affectionate. He likes other dogs and wants to play, but he’s still figuring out boundaries and confidence. At his current foster home he loves laying on the deck and watching the birds. He likes being told he’s a good boy and loves getting head scratches. He craves love and assurance. He’s doing great with positive reinforcement training and needs a patient adopter who will give him time to adjust and show him he’s safe. Because he startles easily, Henry will need an adult only home. Think Henry might be your guy? Apply to adopt on our website 🐾

Story
Sheila is the kind of dog who quietly becomes the heart of your home. Her days start with a stroll around the garden, followed by helping supervise breakfast and school lunches. Once the house clears out, she’s ready for her favorite part of the day: a long morning walk at the park. Sheila is friendly with every dog she meets and greets people with an easy, gentle confidence. The only thing that can derail her calm demeanor? Squirrels. Those are serious business. After her walk and breakfast, Sheila settles into a relaxed work-from-home routine, spending most of the afternoon napping nearby. When the kids come home from school, she happily greets them, then later heads out for another long walk in the afternoon. In the evenings, she prefers cool tile floors and has carefully chosen a spot where she can keep an eye on the whole household. When it’s time for bed, Sheila often walks into her crate on her own and sleeps quietly through the night. Sheila isn’t demanding or overly clingy. Her affection is steady and constant. She shows her love by being near her people, not by needing constant attention. She tolerates hugs and kisses, happily follows kids around for a few minutes, and then calmly returns to her favorite spot once everyone settles. Sheila does struggle with being left alone, especially when her primary person is gone. Even if others are home, she can become anxious. She self-soothes by curling up on a bed and resting, and she does best in a home where someone is around for most of the day. Because of this, she is not a good candidate for being crated when left alone. Sheila is excellent with new people and dogs of all sizes, has never shown aggression, and has become a neighborhood favorite. She walks well on leash and actually finds comfort in it. She enjoys two long walks daily, plus a short evening walk, and loves riding in the car, tagging along on errands, and being included in everyday life. Her challenges are minor: being left alone, having her paws wiped, and brushing (which she tolerates well). In return, she offers something rare. Calm companionship, reliability, and a peaceful presence. Sheila would thrive in an active home that enjoys walks, hikes, or outdoor time, but also values quiet evenings. She is wonderful with children, gentle with older adults, and exceptionally well-mannered indoors. She would make an excellent office companion or side-by-side buddy for someone who works from home. Sheila doesn’t ask for much. She just wants to be near you. And once she is, your life feels a little steadier because of it.

Meet Bbangbbang – The Fluffball with a Second Chance at Life 📍 Currently in Korea 💛 Available for adoption through 3ft Rescue 🐶 Name: Bbangbbang 🎂 Age: 1 year (born in 2024) ⚖️ Weight: 28.6 lbs (13 kg) 🐾 Breed: Retriever × Samoyed Mix 🩺 Neutered: Yes 🚽 Housebroken: Still learning – not many accidents, but needs consistency 🧒 Good with Kids: Yes – no aggression 🐕 Good with Dogs: Yes – friendly and social 🐱 Good with Cats: Unknown Bbangbbang's name means “soft and puffy” in Korean — and it suits him perfectly. But his past was anything but soft. He is one of 80 dogs rescued from a horrific dog meat farm in Korea — a place where no animal should ever end up. Despite the trauma he endured so early in life, Bbangbbang is overflowing with love, energy, and the innocent joy of a puppy who’s been given a second chance. Just one year old, Bbangbbang is a sweet, people-loving pup with a high energy level and a tendency to follow his humans everywhere. He gets along well with other dogs and is currently learning the ropes of potty training. He does well for his age but will need continued guidance and structure as he grows. He hasn’t met cats yet, so we can’t say for sure how he’ll do with them, but his temperament so far has been friendly and playful with all creatures he’s met. 💫 Bbangbbang is still discovering the world — and with the right home, full of patience, playtime, and love, he’s going to shine brighter than ever. If you're looking for a young, resilient, and affectionate pup with a heart full of gratitude, Bbangbbang is ready to start over — this time, with you. 📩 Apply to adopt Bbangbbang through [3ft Rescue].

Story
Meet Hatchi! A soulful young adult Akita/Siberian Husky mix currently in Roseville, CA, whose essence is a whirlwind of energy wrapped in a majestic tricolor coat and anchored by a loyal, tender heart. Hatchi is a 90-pound oversized teddy bear who’s still adjusting to life with only one working eye, the result of stabilized glaucoma. Though he may see shadows, sudden movements can startle him, especially during walks. Because of this, he thrives with a confident, experienced caregiver who can help him feel grounded and secure. Hatchi is strong on leash and reactive to dogs, cats, bikes, and cars that pass by, so he needs someone who’s comfortable working with large breeds and understands the power of positive reinforcement and patient training. Despite his reactivity, Hatchi is a sweet, snuggly companion at heart. He melts into affection and is eager to please, especially when treats are involved! This intelligent boy responds to his name, is crate trained, house-trained, and has lived harmoniously with young children aged 7 and 8. He may do well with a calm, female dog companion but would not be compatible with cats. Daily life with Hatchi includes administering eye drops, which he’ll need for the rest of his life. Thankfully, his love of treats makes this task pretty manageable. A fenced yard is essential, not because he’s tried to escape, but because his Husky instincts and natural curiosity make outdoor safety a must. Hatchi is vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, and he’s ready to embark on a new chapter filled with love, structure, and confidence-building. His sensitive nature means he looks to his human for reassurance, and with the right support, he has the potential to blossom into a truly remarkable companion! Whether you’re curled up on the couch or working on training together in the yard, Hatchi will be right by your side, ready to soak up your affection and offer his loyalty in return. Could you be the guiding heart Hatchi needs to help him thrive? If you’re interested in providing Hatchi with a loving home, please email meetme@joyfulpets.com for more information about adopting him. Please note that Hatchi is currently in foster care through one of our trusted rescue partners and will remain with his foster family until the right match is found. Because rescue-partner pets are managed directly by their respective organizations, their adoption process, requirements, and fees may differ from Joyful Pets’ direct rehoming program. Our team will be happy to connect you with the rescue and help guide you through their process to ensure everything goes smoothly.
