True to her Arctic roots, Yuki has that classic Sammie sparkle—gentle, observant, and just a bit chatty when she has something to say.Yuki is still learning how to “dog” in a home, but she’s already discovered a few favorite luxuries. After stretching her legs in a securely fenced yard (a must for this girl), she transforms into a world-class couch potato. Soft blankets? Yes, please. Long naps? Absolutely. Snuggles with her doggy pals? The finer things suit her well.Naturally a little shy with new people, Yuki will blossom with patience and kindness. Once she feels safe, she’ll reward her humans with the sweetest little kisses and quiet companionship. Like many Samoyeds, she thrives with her pack—she has always lived with other dogs and has learned so much from her canine friends. A confident, friendly dog sibling is essential to help her continue building confidence (bonus points if they enjoy a little polite “conversation” and playtime!).Yuki will need a committed family and a quieter home ready to guide her as she learns household manners and settles into pet life. Meet Silas! This sweet hearted pooch unfortunately came to us because his family could no longer keep him. While he is very nervous at first he is very sweet and affectionate once he warms up. He will need a home that is experienced with escapist as he tends to try to flee. We ask that any children in the home be 10+ due to his nervousness and some guarding behaviors. He may do well with another dog who is calm and confident to help him with his nervousness. He unfortunately has significant prey drive and can not go to a home with cats or small animals.Does he sound like a good fit for your home?!
