Story
Bear is a large goofy exuberant puppy who requires lots of exercise and patience. He clearly is a stunning dog and therefore everyone wants to take him home. He will require a dog savvy person or someone committed to following through with training and providing lots of exercise. Bear is looking for a home with a fenced in yard not an underground fence but a physical one. Bear can be protective of his toys and food, but only with other dogs. Bear is not a “dog park”dog. Please message us for more details home visit and adoption donation required

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 11/28/25**Malcolm has become urgent. He is safe in his foster home but he really needs an adopter ASAP*** Please message us for more info. His adoption fee is WAIVED!    Highlights- House trained, crate trained Good leash manners Knows basic commands No small animals No young kids Does well with the dogs in his foster home but is not good with the dogs that have come to visit his foster home. Details: Malcolm had a home once. Before he became a stray he was neutered, someone loved him enough to do that for him. Then did he get lost, or was he abandoned? When he entered the high kill shelter he had no baby teeth, so he was 6-8 months old. He was pulled from the shelter to save him from euthanasia. After getting into our rescue, Malcolm went to the Paws in Prison program where he learned all the commands a good doggy needs to know. Now Malcolm is in a foster home, practicing how to be part of a family. He loves intensely, but sometimes in the daily chaos he forgets that he is safe and does not need to struggle to survive anymore. He is a resource guarder and is protective of his people. Malcolm would do best in a home with no small animals or young children. He is fully house trained, crate trained, walks well on leash, and plays great with the resident dogs, but he does not want visitor dogs in his home. He loves puddles, and car rides, and walks in the woods. He’s sort of a goofy, bull in a china shop kind of guy! Malcolm is a fantastic mouser! He has to be touching his person on the couch and in bed. He chews toys to bits, but he has not been destructive otherwise. He just needs a special adopter to give him the time and patience he needs to thrive. He is a mixed breed, estimated 1.5-2 years old, about 70 pounds. He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. In New England. Twinkle lived at an Amish Farm in the house; however, the children let her outside and she killed the chickens. So very high prey drive. She loves children, playing in the yard and car rides. She is shy with new people at first but when she warms up to you, you will have companion for life. She knows basic commands and walks well on a leash. Twinkle is located at our Texas Ranch.

Story
Meet Buddy:  Buddy is a friendly Husky/Pyrenees/Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix that is 1 year old (as of July 2025) and weighs around 79 lbs. Buddy was found as a stray in a subdivision going from house to house looking for someone to help him. Buddy is very friendly and loves people. We are working with him on jumping up and hugging you, walking on a leash and counter surfing. Buddy is very playful and loves to play with lots of toys or grab a rug/robe and run in the yard with it. He is crate trained and has not had one accident in the home. He gets along with other dogs and because he plays hard we would recommend no small dogs. Buddy definitely needs a fenced in yard and a family that is very active. Buddy is up to date on all his shots and neutered. If you are interested in adopting the sweet boy, please go to our website at charliescrusaders.org and fill out our adoption application. REQUIREMENTS: Fenced in yard and another dog in the home. CURRENT LOCATION: Foster Home in Pottstown, PA 19464 Kennel License #17584 ##2367372##

Story
Meet Ace: Ace is estimated to be about a 3 year old (as of December 2025) husky / pittie mix (best guess) that weighs 57 pounds. Ace entered our rescue when his elderly owner was hospitalized and couldn't care for him any longer. Ace is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Ace is super friendly and super energetic. Ace loves to meet new people and is very social. Ace likes to be active and could do really well with training to stimulate his mind and harness his energy. Ace loves to go for car rides. Ace likes to play with toys. Ace is affectionate and eager to please. Ace does well with other dogs and cats. Ace is house trained and crate trained. We would love for Ace to have a home with a fenced in yard so he can play freely. Ace is up to date on his shots and neutered. If you are interested in giving this handsome guy a great home, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application.
