At six years old, she has perfected the art of being a relaxed, well-mannered house companion. Gretel is a professional lounger who is fully potty trained and knows exactly how to behave indoors. While she was adopted as a puppy, she recently returned to us after a misunderstanding with a small child. Because of this, Gretel is looking for an adult-only home where she can be the center of your world. She’s a "people person" who prefers to be your one-and-only pet—no other dogs needed when she has you! If you’re looking for a loyal, low-maintenance best friend to keep your sofa warm, Gretel is your girl. No rush, no fuss, just quiet companionship and cozy naps. Her hearing isn’t what it used to be, which only adds to her peaceful charm. She’s perfectly content soaking up love, lounging in a sunny spot, and enjoying the calm side of life. Ms. Mam has diabetes mellitus and will require lifelong treatment, including insulin injections twice daily and a special diet. She would also likely do best in a home without cats. All this precious girl really asks for is a little love, a warm place to rest, and a home where she can enjoy her golden years in comfort and care.
