Story
Name: Angelo Age: 9 years Sex: Neutered Male Breed: Pomeranian/Chihuahua Mix Weight: 18 pounds Adoption fee: $300 (altered, vaccinep to date, microchipped, vet checked) Location: In Foster: please fill out an application at: https://azsmalldog.org/adoption-form/ Compatibility with other dogs: Best as only dog Compatibility with cats: Good Compatibility with kids: Best in adult only home Energy level: Low to Moderate Requirements: Meet whole family, dog intro, patient and loving family, secure yard preferred     Angelo sadly lost the only human he has ever known and was so fearful at the shelter. When Angelo first came into his foster home he bonded with his foster mom right away. Although he prefers females, he has learned to accept his foster dad and even goes to him for pets and scratches now. Just understand that you will need to be very patient. He has learned to get along with small (mellow) dogs but he would be happiest being the only dog in the home. As a loving and loyal companion, Angelo may develop a bit of possessiveness once he forms a strong bond with his person. He will bark at any stranger in an attempt to protect his person. With proper discipline, patience and respect for his boundaries, he will learn to trust and will stop barking once he feels comfortable. It may take some time but it will happen.  A ngelo is potty trained but does not use a doggie door. He will sit or lay by the door when he needs to go out. He loves car rides and going for walks though he does not do well in social situations. Too many people make him nervous and scared.   This senior guy just wants someone to love him with as much love as he has to give. To potentially meet him, please fill out an application online.   **DON'T FALL VICTIM TO FRAUD - Scammers have been responding to comments asking individuals to private message them for more information or post spam sites.
