Story
Yuki is a bonded pair and must be adopted with his sister, Luna Kuma. Yuki (“you-key,” meaning happiness in Japanese) Momo is a 9-year-old loyal, energetic dog who loves his family and thrives on attention. He’s curious, adaptable, and has a charming stubborn streak—especially on walks when he insists on finishing a good sniff. He does great with people and enjoys meeting new faces. Around other dogs, he can be a bit protective and may give a small growl to create space. With proper introductions, he adjusts well and has even lived comfortably with a cat. Yuki is very devoted—he’ll watch for you at the window and stay close by your side. He’s vocal and expressive, sometimes barking, even at night. He would do best with an active, engaged owner who can provide attention and keep up with grooming, as he sheds and dislikes baths. Yuki is a special dog who deserves a loving, attentive home.

Story
Luna is a bonded pair and must be adopted with her brother, Yuki Momo. Luna (8yr) is a sweet, goofy girl with a dorky personality that will keep you smiling. She loves food and will “sing” her signature Shiba song while you prepare her meals. She greets you with excitement and joy when you come home. She isn’t much of a barker but uses unique vocalizations to “talk.” Luna can be shy at first, but with patience, she becomes very affectionate and loves attention. She’s an excellent walker, attentive, and well-behaved, though she may need time to adjust to new environments. She enjoys playing and also knows when to relax and lounge. Luna likes having cozy spots where she feels safe. She has had rare accidents when nervous but has never urinated indoors. She does shed and needs regular grooming. She’s great with people and pets, enjoys the dog park, but may be nervous in the car and occasionally has itchy paws. Luna is a loving companion who deserves a patient, attentive home.
