Meet Remy! 🐾❤️
Remy is an adorable little guy with a big heart and the sweetest personality! He’s only been in his foster home for a short time, but he’s already acting like he’s been part of the family forever!
Remy is a little shadow who loves being wherever his people are. He’s especially taken a liking to his foster family’s five-year-old daughter and can often be found following her around the house. He seems to genuinely enjoy being near her, whether she’s playing, moving around the house, or just hanging out!
Remy loves being included in whatever is happening. He’s perfectly happy to follow you from room to room and settle down right beside you. He enjoys affection and being held, but so far he seems just as content sitting next to his people as he does getting cuddles. He’s a sweet little companion who simply wants to be part of your day!
And as it turns out, Remy LOVES having a doggy playmate! 🐶 He’s been having a blast playing with his foster family’s resident dog, Joey. The two have spent much of the day playing together, and Remy has shown that he really enjoys interacting with other dogs. He may be tiny, but he’s got a fun, playful personality!
We’ve also started introducing Remy to the resident cat, and his initial reactions have been encouraging! He seems a little unsure of the cat but is curious about him. When the cat ran, Remy initially tried to follow, but he came right back when called. He also respectfully backed away when the cat gave him a little swat. While it’s still too early to say he’s fully cat-friendly, he’s shown promising signs, and a home with cats may be a possibility with slow, thoughtful introductions.
So far, Remy has been very easygoing. He’s potty trained, has shown interest in bones and toys, and has settled into his foster home remarkably quickly. He occasionally uses little whines to communicate what he wants, but otherwise has been pretty quiet!
Remy has a wonderful combination of personalities: he’s affectionate and people-oriented, but he also loves having fun with his canine friends. Whether he’s following his favorite little human around, playing with another dog, or relaxing beside you, he just wants to be part of the family.
