Story
Meet Yuka. This dog has it all. Yuka is about 2 years old and weighs 26 pounds. When I tell you she is smart, I mean smart as a whip. She is attentive, food motivated, eager to please, and will be a star pupil in any training class. She loves everybody people and dogs of all shapes and sizes and she has absolutely no fear aggression. Honestly, she could almost apply for a job as a Walmart greeter. I found Yuka at the Weslaco, Texas shelter in deep South Texas. She had no collar, no tag, no microchip, was not spayed, was loaded with fleas, and no one came looking for her. We are so happy she is here with us now. Yuka would make an excellent addition to just about any family setting I can think of, as long as her family is able to give her the exercise, structure, and attention she deserves. This beautiful girl is located at our shelter near San Antonio, TX and is available for transport to Frederick, MD on August 22nd with approved application and confirmed adoption. Her adoption fee is $450. The fee includes transport cost. Story
Tito has been overlooked so many times and we can’t understand why? He is such a handsome young man that does have a warm up period, but he would love to have a home! Could that home be yours that he has waited all this time for? Tito is a 3-year-old, 37-pound pup who has endured more than most. Rescued from the streets and brought to the Weslaco shelter with a severely embedded collar that was put on as a puppy and never removed as he grew. Tito spent his life on the streets after fleeing his home, before finally finding safety. Now, he’s ready for the love and stability of a forever home. Though he needs a brief warm-up period to feel secure, Tito quickly shows his affectionate side. He loves other dogs and is especially nurturing toward puppies, making him a wonderful companion for a household with another dog. Until he feels fully safe, he’ll do best with a harness and leash to help him build trust. Tito is playful, gentle, and longing for a family to call his own. After surviving so much, he deserves a home where he can finally relax, be loved, and share his loyal heart. Tito is located at our shelter near San Antonio, TX and is available for transport to Frederick, MD on August 22nd with approved application and confirmed adoption. His adoption fee is $450.
