🐾 Meet Dancer! 🐾
This adorable 5 year old little fluffball is Dancer, and his foster mom swears he looks just like Gidget from *The Secret Life of Pets!* ☁️🤍
Dancer is a sweet little guy with the potential to become the ultimate lap dog! Although he hasn't quite figured out the whole lap-dog lifestyle yet, he has definitely mastered the art of finding the coziest spots in the house. Whether it's a pile of dirty laundry, freshly folded clean clothes, or even the bottom shelf of a cabinet, if it's cozy, you can bet Dancer has claimed it as his own! 😂❤️
Dancer came into rescue as a breeder release and was recently neutered. Because of his past, the big world can still be a little overwhelming. New environments and unfamiliar situations make him nervous, so he needs a family willing to give him the time and patience to settle in. Once he realizes he's safe, his happy, sweet personality really starts to shine! 🥹
🐶 **A little more about Dancer:**
- 🐾 **Dogs:** He does well with small and medium-sized dogs! He does appreciate his personal space, though, and may give a little warning growl if another dog gets too close to his face. He has had one wrestling match with his foster brother, who was being a typical pesky little brother and just wouldn't take the hint to leave him alone! 😂
- 🐱 **Cats:** His feelings about feline friends are still a mystery!
- 🏡 **Personality:** A little shy and unsure at first, but a happy, sweet boy once he feels comfortable.
- 💤 **Favorite hobby:** Finding the most ridiculous places to curl up and take a nap!
Dancer is still learning what it means to be a loved family dog, and it's been so sweet watching him come out of his shell. He doesn't need a family that expects him to be brave right away. He just needs someone who will let him figure things out at his own pace.
He is looking for a home with another calm dog and a secure fence. Right now a leash means, put on my breaks and don't move. Still working on leash training.
With a little patience, lots of love, and maybe a designated pile of laundry to call his own, this fluffy little gentleman has so much love to give! 🤍🐾
