Story
We adopted Chase and then Charlie in 2020 and 2021. My daughter was 11/12 and I didn’t plan on having more children. In 2024 a new baby came into our lives with absolutely zero notice and turned everyone’s lives upside down. Our adoption was finalized in January and she’s not going anywhere. Neither dog likes babies/toddlers/young children so they cannot be around her. Because of this they spend most of their time behind a gate in the family room away from the rest of the family. It’s truly heartbreaking, only getting worse and not fair to anyone, especially the dogs. Their behavior is getting worse because they aren’t getting the attention they need. They are both (even though 6&7 years old) extremely high energy dogs. They love walks but due to infrequent walks the last 2 years it just keeps getting harder to walk them. They are beautiful and really sweet animals. They deserve a home where they can interact with their humans! Happy to answer any and all questions!
