Story
Moda is a lean 42 lb, medium size Shiba Inu mix. At 1.5 years old, Moda is the perfect combination of playful and chill and knows the ropes of living with a family. She is house trained, crate trained, tether trained and knows all the basic commands. Her favorite toy is a rubber ball and her favorite activities include fetch and being read to. She will drop the ball at your feet, back away and wait patiently for you to throw it again. Fantastic on a leash/collar combo for walks and a harness/over the headrest seat belt for the car, Moda will be your ‘ride or die’ bestie no matter the activity you choose. She is just happy to be with her humans – and every human Moda meets becomes one of hers, especially if they love to give a good belly rub! Great with kids and cat friendly, Moda does prefer to keep her circle small when it comes to other dogs, but with a slow intro, she gets along with calm, respectful dogs that give her space. Whether you have an active lifestyle and need a walking/hiking pal, or are more comfortable just hanging out at home, Moda would love to be part of it all! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
