Story
Milo is a 2-year-old, 10-pound black and white Pomeranian with a big personality and a lot of energy to match. He’s a handsome, active little guy who thrives on attention and loves being close to his person. Milo was surrendered to rescue because his previous owner worked full time and couldn’t keep up with his energy level. He does best when he has plenty of interaction, activity, and structure throughout the day. He is very people-focused and enjoys cuddling on the couch once he’s had a chance to burn off some energy. He gets along with other dogs, though he’s still figuring out how to play appropriately. When he gets excited or anxious, he can bark and pace in circles, which can be confusing for other dogs. He has recently started on Prozac to help manage his anxiety, and we are already working on helping him feel more relaxed and settled. Milo is very food motivated, loves treats, and will benefit from continued guidance, routine, and positive outlets for both his physical and mental energy. With the right home, he has a wonderful, loving personality that really shines. Milo is fully vetted, including a full exam, neuter, vaccinations, microchip, and he is heartworm negative and current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Milo is located in Santa Fe, TX, and his adoption fee is $650. Apply to adopt at www.tpsrescue.com

Story
Ava is a 4-year-old, 14-pound black and tan Pomeranian with a full, fluffy coat and a calm, gentle presence that makes her incredibly easy to love. She has a quiet, steady personality and brings a sense of peace wherever she goes. Ava enjoys the company of other dogs and fits into a group beautifully. She’s never pushy or overwhelming, just happy to be nearby and included. She confidently uses the doggie door to take herself out for little breaks, then returns inside to relax in her favorite cozy spots. She has a soft, affectionate nature and prefers to stay close to her person. If you’re working, she’ll quietly settle under your desk, keeping you company without asking for much. At the end of the day, she’ll patiently wait to be lifted onto the couch so she can curl up beside you and unwind. Ava does well with grooming and brushing, happily standing still and enjoying the calm attention. She’s the kind of dog who thrives in a peaceful home where her gentle companionship is appreciated. Ava has luxating patellas in both knees, Grade 4 on the left and Grade 3 on the right. She is currently getting around, but this will need to be monitored and managed with a veterinarian over time. Ava is fully vetted, including a full exam, spay, dental, vaccinations, deworming, and fecal testing. She is current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Ava is located in Bryan, TX, and her adoption fee is $650. Apply to adopt at www.tpsrescue.com

Story
Dean is a 3.5-month-old white Pomeranian puppy with a sweet personality, fluffy coat, and some very specific little quirks that make him endlessly entertaining. He’s playful, affectionate, and overall a very easy puppy to love. Dean is generally quiet, but when he wants something or feels personally offended by your choices, he will whine dramatically like a tiny baby. He loves rope toys and has developed a habit of dragging them all over the house to build himself little toy nests like some sort of fluffy woodland creature. He is an extremely enthusiastic eater and absolutely needs a slow feeder bowl because otherwise he inhales meals with the intensity of Scooby-Doo spotting a sandwich. Once he’s done with important puppy business, he’s happy to snuggle up close and relax. Dean also has a very strange hobby involving hair. He likes to “do” your hair by digging around in it and gently nibbling it with deep concentration. We do not fully understand this behavior, but he seems very committed to it. He loves going outside, rides well in the car, and gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids. Dean is social, playful, and would fit beautifully into a home ready for puppy energy and constant entertainment. Dean has a mild Grade 1 luxating patella on his left knee, which is not causing any issues and simply needs monitoring as he grows. Dean is fully vetted, including a full exam, neuter, vaccinations, microchip, deworming, and he is current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. He will still need his rabies vaccine once he reaches 4 months old. Dean is located in Alvin, TX, and his adoption fee is $850. Apply to adopt at www.tpsrescue.com
