Story
Kimchi is a German Shepherd/Shiba Inu mix with a very gentle personality. She's ~3 years old. When we first got her, she unfortunately caught parvo and had to spend most of her first year quarantined while recovering. Because of that early experience, she struggles with anxiety and needs a little extra patience and reassurance.She is very attached to her people and does best in calm, predictable environments. She does not enjoy regular walks and is trained to use a large dog pad for the restroom instead. To help her stay active, we take her to the dog park at our apartment where she can exercise comfortably in a familiar space.She can become nervous around unfamiliar people and may have a hard time during unexpected interactions, so slow introductions and understanding are important. Despite her anxiety, she is a sweet dog who thrives with gentle attention and consistency.
