Story
Chippy is a 7-month-old Afghan Hound puppy who weighed 40 pounds last time he was weighed and is still growing! He is expected to reach 50–60 pounds when fully grown. This goofy, fun-loving boy is sure to keep you smiling with his silly puppy antics. Chippy loves playing with toys, romping around with other dogs, and is always ready for his next adventure. Like any young puppy, Chippy is still working on his house training and crate training. He's highly food motivated, which makes him eager to learn and should make training a rewarding experience. Chippy gets along wonderfully with other dogs, though he doesn't always realize just how big he is! He also does well with cats. Because he is not yet comfortable walking on a leash, Chippy REQUIRES a securely fenced yard where he can safely exercise and explore. Sighthound experience preferred. To adopt this handsome boy, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org His adoption fee is $650, which includes his shots up-to-date, microchipping, neuter, and deworming.

Story
Maynard is a 4 year old, 50 lb Afghan Hound who may be shy at first, but once he warms up, he is an incredibly loving boy. He is good with dogs of all sizes and cats and enjoys spending time with his furry friends. Maynard walks well on a leash and loves going for walks, playing with plush squeaky toys, and chasing balls in the yard. Sometimes he brings the ball back, and sometimes he decides to keep it for himself! He also enjoys playing chase with the other dogs or simply running happy laps around the fenced yard. He is crate-trained and has been doing well with house-training, although he is not quite 100% there yet. Maynard is a sweet, playful guy looking for a loving home where he can continue to come out of his shell. To adopt him, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org His adoption fee is $500, which includes his shots up-to-date, microchipping, neuter, heartworm testing, and dental cleaning.

Story
Sylvie is a gorgeous 2-year-old, 50 lb Afghan Hound who has been officially declared “a certified good girl” by our vet, and who are we to argue? Unlike some Afghans who prefer to admire their people from afar, Sylvie loves attention and will happily come over to request some affection. She enjoys a good sprint around the yard, then comes right back to check in with her favorite person. Walks, toys, playtime, and simply hanging out together are all high on her list of favorite activities. True to her Afghan nature, Sylvie is smart, curious, and always looking for fun. She can be a little mischievous in her quest for a good time, but her playful personality is sure to keep you laughing. She learns quickly, though, like any independent thinker, she may occasionally decide she has a better idea than the one you had! Sylvie is crate trained, doing well with house training, and walks nicely on leash. She has lived with other dogs, but would be happiest as an only dog or in a home with only large male dogs. No cats. If you're looking for a beautiful, clever, affectionate companion with a playful streak and plenty of personality, Sylvie may be your perfect match. Sighthound experience preferred. Please make sure you've researched this breed. To adopt her, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org Her adoption fee is $600, which includes her shots up-to-date, microchipping, spay, heartworm testing, and dental cleaning.
