Hi my name is Poe! I am a Scottish fold/straight purebred. I am 5 years old but still act like a kitten. Currently I live with my elder cat brother and a 6 year old dog. I am a bit shy at first but once I feel comfortable with people I love being around them. My favorite things in life are chasing bugs that get into the house, freeze dried chicken treats, a good brushing, and a warm clean blanket. Currently my family is looking to rehome me due to my upkeep. I am a medium hair but I am also a winter kitty living in Florida so I shed ALOT. My family does not have the space for all three of us animals so we are looking for a better fit for me. I have never been around children and dont think I would like them unless they are super calm and maybe only 1 or two. I do like my dog sister but shes also a very calm sweet dog. So I will only take to cat like dogs. I also am very submissive so would only do well with other submissive cats so I dont get bullied.

Pistachio is 9 months old. I found him under the hood of my car. Hes not super affectionate and I think he gets overstimulated easily, and really only likes head pets. He didnt get along well with my kitten, despite trying everything for them to get along. He tends to bite and scratch, not always out of malice, but he hasnt learned to be more gentle with it, so hopefully his new family will have past experience with cats like that. He definitely needs someone patient. He doesn't scratch furniture and he's a great litterbox user. He chirps a lot but doesn't meow often outside of when he wants food. Hes not great at playing by himself usually, but he loves springs and wand toys, especially the wand toys that are a little bit springy. He is a sweet boy and shows his affection by rubbing on your leg and napping next to you. He might be allergic to salmon! Overall hes a good cat, we just cant give him everything he needs. We will send him off with his favorite things!

Silky-Muffin (S-M) is a beautiful medium-haired 3 yo pure black cat, with green eyes. She is loving, often sleeps with me at night, likes to cuddle against my side under the covers. I adopted her in December 2022. She had juvenile gingivitis as a kitten. She lost about 8 teeth. S-M no longer has gingivitis, and I have her teeth cleaned annually. S-M is a very high-strung kitty. She needs a lot of attention. Without lots of attention, she gets stressed. When strangers come into the house, she gets stressed. When we get stressed, she gets stressed. When she's stressed, she hides. Worse, she pees outside the litter box. We are working on those issues. She is on prozac. Our older cat is 7 yo, does not play much. S-M needs more play, human or cat. If we cannot correct her behavior to a greater degree, she will need a less stressful home.

She does get along with others with a slow introduction. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. All of our adoptable animals are in foster homes or in the Cat Room at the Boynton Beach PetSmart, 335 N. Congress Ave., Boynton Beach, FL 33426 Our adoption volunteers and most of our adoptable cats are at PetSmart each Saturday from 10 to 3 and Sunday from 11 to 3. Come visit us! Many of our pets are available for both adoption or foster; please email us for more information at ru4mepetrescue@yahoo.com. Adoption fees vary. We adopt ONLY to Palm Beach County residents.
