Story
This is Orpheus. He is about 2y and 3m old. It breaks my heart posting him on here. He is very high maintenance, loving cuddles and attention. I used to not be able to shower without him. He loves to be wherever you are. He likes encouragement while he's eating. He is on 100mg of Gabapentin once/twice a day as needed. He has tense back legs, so avoid picking him up. I know he's cute, but it hurts him! If anyone is even willing to be his long term foster, I would love to take him back in a year or two when I am out of my emergency situation.

FeLV+ DOB: 8/27/2025 One of the biggest misconceptions about feline leukemia (FeLV) , which suppresses a cat’s immune system, is that it is an automatic death sentence. There are many variables, however, that come into play that determine how FeLV will affect a particular cat.  To learn more about FeLV visit: https://resources.bestfriends.org/article/feline-leukemia-felv-faqs   **This cat is currently in a foster home and arrangements can be made for a meeting once you have applied with us. All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. FELV+ FIV+DOB: 3/25/2024 One of the biggest misconceptions about feline leukemia, which suppresses a cat’s immune system, is that it is an automatic death sentence. There are many variables, however, that come into play that determine how FeLV will affect a particular cat.  To learn more about this condition visit:  https://resources.bestfriends.org/article/feline-leukemia-felv-faqs Feline Immunodeficiency Virus positive cats can live normal lives both in quality and duration. They do take special care in terms of monitoring them for signs of infection.  FIV can be passed from cat to cat via deep bite wounds, but not from casual contact so positive cats can live with negative cats without the fear of spreading FIV as long as they get along and are spayed/neutered.
