The farmer asked us to take in Penelope as she is so friendly they thought she would be a wonderful addition to any family. She really is a cute little thing. She's just a little shy at first, but she quickly makes up to people. She was adopted for a month by an elderly couple and was returned through absolutely no fault of hers. They said that after she was home with them for a week, she came out of her shell and started acting like a normal, playful kitten. They admitted that they should have put more thought into adopting a kitten. Ying arrived at Paws Animal Shelter when his former owner was killed in an auto accident. He needs a new loving home. Ying is very friendly and loves treats! He was obviously used to getting a lot of attention and misses that. It would be wonderful if he could find a new family. If you can take in a loving cat who just wants another person or family to love him, please consider Ying. I put that Ying has special needs, because he has a bone marrow issue, but it is easily treated with daily medication. Ying is a favorite with all our regular volunteers and staff because of his sweet, loving nature.
