Uhtred (oo-tread) is named after a Viking warrior to help him be strong and brave. He tries to live up to his namesake with mighty little meows but Uhtred is, at heart, a shy lil guy. He likes to be close and involved, but not too close. For example, he might check in on what your doing, but from a vantage point or down the hall. Uhtred prefers to enjoy company from a safe distance. He is good at being handled and will let you know when he does not want to be with some Viking-like grumbles. We have had him for 5 years. He patiently moved across the country with us from Virginia to Washington (over 2800 miles)! Uhtred loves liquid treats and soft catfood. If you’re lucky, he might stand up on his hind legs for a snack. He is a good boy.
