I found this dog by the river curled up in a ball ready to die he looks like he had a very bad skin problem I took him home I had a pet antibiotics I've given him a bath and he's done about 89% turn around however he needs to go to a home where he could get attention it's obvious he's been abused his whole life and neglected now that he's gotten a little bit of attention he just needs someone to be there for him at all times I think that he just needs to be worked with because he's just a little bit over a year old and if someone could work with him he'd probably turn out to be a great dog he cannot just be put in the backyard to live he needs attention because he lacked it for this whole first year of life it saddens me that anyone could do this to a dog but I cannot keep this dog I could only keep this dog for like 3 more days and then I'm going to have to be forced to take him to the pound which I do not want to do please anyone that can help me with this dog please reach . 911

Hi I found this dog curled up in a ball by the river on Friday. He looked like he was about to die,I took the dog to take him to the pound to get him out of his misery. The pound could not take him. They said they were too full. I am in dire need to find this guy a home. I started giving him my dogs pet antibiotics, it seems to have healed his skin problem, with a bath and a little TLC it seems to brought him right back to life. I am not able to keep this dog. I have too busy of a schedule to keep this dog. This dog looks like it has been abused and neglected since birth . He seems to be a very good dog he just needs someone that can give him the attention that he needs from being neglected. I need to find someone as soon as possible. This is a 911 situation please I do not want to have to take him to the pound and have him euthanized. I only have a couple more days to be able to take care of him please help If someone could give him the right attention. He is good

MEET MUFFIN: He is a puppy at just 10 months. He is the sweetest pup with lots of energy. He loves to be in the mix with the dogs and the people. He will follow you around everywhere you go- just wants to be by your side. He doesn’t like to be separated. He is crate trained, housetrained and knows some basic commands. Like all puppies he loved to chew on things. Toys that make crinkly and squeak sounds are his favourite. Needs toys and bones to not chew on things you don’t want him to chew. He will carry shoes around but, with a strong No and redirect to his toys he is good. He does get along with other dogs, but he needs slow introductions. Once he’s comfortable, he’s fine and wants to play. He did great around 3 year old kid. He knows how to ‘sit’ and is learning “off” (of the carpet), “down” (from jumping), “stay”, and “out” (of the room). Does great on leash . He is best with other playful, easy going, non-reactive dogs. Or possibly by himself with family who can give him time and play. He is adorable, goofy and fun. He is a puppy and needs a family or person who can give him the time, exercise, attention and ongoing training he needs.

We got Myles last year when he was 3 months from the humane society in Milpitas. He will be a year old on April 25th. Since then we have had a lot of change happen and as much as this hurts us we need to rehome him. We have exhausted every option and no one can help with the level of capacity at all the facilities or the lack of people willing to take him in. He is a great dog with a lot of energy. Due to our schedule and living situation we are unable to provide him with the time and home he deserves. A good family for this dog would be someone who is at home and has a backyard. He is a lover and loves attention. Please help us find his forever home 🥹
