This guy is uber adorable! With those silly ears and that squishy jowl, he is almost irresistible! Shrimp is a super sweet boy who loves to give kisses and have all the fun! He is young and active and loves to play. He would make a great adventure partner as he loves to hike and swim and is an extremely smart boy. He is treat motivated and loves to learn and is looking for a new best friend to take on the world with. He absolutely loves all toys and swimming! Shrimp is a very active dog and loves long walks, he would benefit from an active family. Shrimp would greatly benefit from training since he does pull in the leash and is strong. He would enjoy agility training and maybe dock diving. Shrimp is not recommended to be housed with kids or cats due to a high prey drive. He has met dogs on and off leash and did okay. He has attempt to go after a trainers dog but was corrected and listened. Supervision is recommended for meeting others dogs. Shrimp is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and chipped. Lulu is a tiny spayed female Shar-pei. She was found stray, and Pei People rescued her. Lulu is good with other dogs, meets strangers with tail wagging and loves walks. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and is microchipped. She weighs 30 pounds!!! Lulu is being seen by our vet to evaluate her eyes, which appear to need entropion surgery. Gordon found himself in a California shelter, and he was such a good boy that Pei People couldn't wait to rescue him! Gordon is neutered, up to date on vaccines and is microchipped. He is 4-5 years old according to our vet and weighs 45 pounds. Gordon is even good in a crate (he sleeps there at night). He took a week or two to learn the dog door and potty training, but now is a pro and no accidents in the house. He would love a yard or regular walks if no yard available...really enjoys being outside. He also likes toys and balls. He is also VERY good with other dogs and is ready for a new home! Camilla is a gorgeous cream shar-pei mix and this girl landed in the shelter after being abandoned in an RV with other dogs. Cami has lived with other dogs, but we've found she would do best as an only dog or a with neutral or submissive male dogs. She is very good with people, and apparently has seen the world (or maybe US) by car/travel. Camilla is about 4 years old, is spayed and had entropion eyelid surgery and has all her vaccines and a microchip. She is about 45 pounds. Demi is the Buddha of all dogs. She is calm, grounded, gentle and extremely loving to humans and dogs of all sizes and ages. She has not been tested with cats but so far does not show a high prey drive so she may be fine with them. She is housebroken, crate trained, is comfortable navigating all stairs, doesn't bark, doesn't jump up and is not interested in much physical exercise. After all she has been through she has earned the right to lounge. Demi thrives on affection. She will lay her big head in your lap and just lean in and soak up all the attention. She also loves to slump over and lay belly up for a good tummy rub. She is mouth gentle but cherishes her food so should always be fed separate as a precaution. The last month has been spent building up her immune system to prepare her for her future dual surgeries (spay and entropion) which will require her to wear the cone of shame for two weeks. The entropion surgery should help significantly with her eye issues, but she will need a pat of dry eye ointment in each eye two times a day forevermore to continue being the brown eyed beauty she is. She is an angel and just sits patiently while you tend to her. Due to her not being spayed yet Demi is available as a foster to adopt dog. Adoptions will be finalized after her spay is completed. Anybody or any family that adopts her is getting the best dog ever. She truly makes owning a dog easy. She's great for a laidback lifestyle and also for a first time dog owner. Fum aka Harley, is a playful and affectionate puppy that is looking for his forever home. He loves exploring and sniffing when out on his walks. He does well on the leash and will occasionally pull for a good sniff but quickly adjust with a little correction. He loves his toys but tends to tear up stuffies, he does best with heavy duty chews and tug toys. Fum is a smart boy already knowing commands like down and sit and is working on more. He is highly treat motivated and cataches on quickly, plus he is crate and potty trained like a champ. Fum is still very much a puppy and working out his puppy energy and needs training and exercise. Fum does well with other dogs, cats, and children, just exercise caution around young ones since he gets the zoomies. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and chipped. Meet Tank, a short, squishy-faced senior bulldog mix with a heart as big as his adorable blocky head. He’s a low-energy sweetheart who loves nothing more than curling up on the couch, taking naps, and soaking up all the affection he can get. Tank adores people—every single one of them—and he does the cutest little tippy tappies when he sees you have treats. He’s also wonderful with kids and would make a loving, gentle companion for a family. Tank prefers not to share his space with large dogs, though he may do well with small dogs after a slow introduction, and he may also be okay with dog-savvy cats. He rides calmly in the car and is about as easygoing as they come. He has been let down more times than any dog should endure. Tank was first placed on the euthanasia list at Manteca Shelter, then adopted, then rehomed, and eventually ended up at Stanislaus Shelter, where he again faced euthanasia. He is currently flourishing in a loving foster home. Through every setback, Tank has remained gentle, loving, and hopeful.
