This guy is uber adorable! With those silly ears and that squishy jowl, he is almost irresistible! Shrimp is a super sweet boy who loves to give kisses and have all the fun! He is young and active and loves to play. He would make a great adventure partner as he loves to hike and swim and is an extremely smart boy. He is treat motivated and loves to learn and is looking for a new best friend to take on the world with. He absolutely loves all toys and swimming! Shrimp is a very active dog and loves long walks, he would benefit from an active family. Shrimp would greatly benefit from training since he does pull in the leash and is strong. He would enjoy agility training and maybe dock diving. Shrimp is not recommended to be housed with kids or cats due to a high prey drive. He has met dogs on and off leash and did okay. He has attempt to go after a trainers dog but was corrected and listened. Supervision is recommended for meeting others dogs. Shrimp is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and chipped. Learn more hereAt 7 years old and 65 pounds, Cappy is a handsome senior with quiet confidence and charm. He was found tied up outside the shelter with many wounds. All healed now, he's enjoying the comforts of his foster home while he waits for his forever family. His foster reports he’s an excellent house guest! This sweet boy is house-trained and caught on to his routine quickly. He’ll even let you know when it’s time to go out. His favorite place? Curled up next to his humans on a comfy couch. He sleeps soundly through the night and loves a little sunbathing during the day. Cappy has arthritis, likely from an old injury, so he keeps things low-key. Gentle strolls, soft beds, and lots of love are all he needs. He’s great on leash and enjoys short “sniffaris” around the block. When it comes to other dogs, Cappy is generally calm and polite with those his size, though he might be too much for smaller pups. With slow introductions, or as your one-and-only, he’ll shine. Fum aka Harley, is a playful and affectionate puppy that is looking for his forever home. He loves exploring and sniffing when out on his walks. He does well on the leash and will occasionally pull for a good sniff but quickly adjust with a little correction. He loves his toys but tends to tear up stuffies, he does best with heavy duty chews and tug toys. Fum is a smart boy already knowing commands like down and sit and is working on more. He is highly treat motivated and cataches on quickly, plus he is crate and potty trained like a champ. Fum is still very much a puppy and working out his puppy energy and needs training and exercise. Fum does well with other dogs, cats, and children, just exercise caution around young ones since he gets the zoomies. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and chipped. **Big Tank is currently in boarding (through no fault of his own) and needs a foster or adopter as soon as possible! All Better World Rescue intake is closed until we can get Big Tank out of boarding** Meet Tank, a short, squishy-faced senior bulldog mix with a heart as big as his adorable blocky head. He’s a low-energy sweetheart who loves nothing more than curling up on the couch, taking naps, and soaking up all the affection he can get. Tank adores people—every single one of them—and he does the cutest little tippy tappies when he sees you have treats. He’s also wonderful with kids and would make a loving, gentle companion for a family. Tank prefers not to share his space with large dogs, though he may do well with small dogs after a slow introduction, and he may also be okay with dog-savvy cats. He rides calmly in the car and is about as easygoing as they come. He has been let down more times than any dog should endure. Tank was first placed on the euthanasia list at Manteca Shelter, then adopted, then rehomed, and eventually ended up at Stanislaus Shelter, where he again faced euthanasia. He went to a foster home but recently lost that placement through no fault of his own due to landlord issues, and he is now in boarding. Through every setback, Tank has remained gentle, loving, and hopeful. He’s ready for a calm, caring home where he can finally enjoy the stability and love he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal couch buddy and a sweet senior who will make your home warmer just by being in it, Tank is ready to meet you.
