Story

Chance is a playful, curious, affectionate and active dog! So, he needs 2 - 3 walks a day and/or a shaded fenced in yard. I rescued him from a shelter because he was not doing well in that environment. He’s been thriving with me but I have a senior, special needs dog so I cannot keep Chance long term. He’s smart and independent with quite the personality! One evening, I noticed he dragged a blanket from the top of his opened crate and formed another bed out of it. He understands basic commands like Sit, Stay and Shake and is unique in that he doesn’t shed or bark much but instead air bites when excited. He also plays well with dogs at day care. He has been sleeping in a papason chair he claimed as his own.Special note! If the person/family who adopts Chance lives within an hour of me, I'm willing to dog sit him for free when they go on vacation. The details can be worked out upon adoption.

Meet Bruce 💙 Bruce is a 7-year-old handsome boy with the tiniest ears and the biggest heart. Unfortunately, Bruce has struggled with chronic ear infections for most of his life. After exhausting other options, he now requires surgery on both ears—which will leave him completely deaf. The good news? His surgery will be fully covered and taken care of by Runaways Animal Rescue. Now all Bruce needs is a loving home to stand by him through it all.
