Story
Ophelia “Ophe” is the absolute sweetest dog. She is 13 years old but in great shape for her age. She loves to cuddle and is loyal to her bones. We are devastated to have to make the decision to rehome her due to our one year-old constantly bullying her. She deserves a more peaceful home in her last years and I hoping we can find someone that can give her the attention that she deserves.

Story
We adopted Paddy (then called Ted) from Friends of Strays. He was picked up by animal control living on the street. Best guess from the vet is he's about 18 months old. He is a wonderful dog and loves everyone and is great with other dogs. He enjoys cuddling and going to the dog park. He is crate trained by would rather sleep in bed with you or the kids. Paddy has all the normal silly boxer traits. He's goofy, scared of the vacuum and gets the zoomies. Unfortunately, my wife and I both have different jobs since we adopted him and have gone from working remote to in office work as well as frequent travel. He needs a family to give him lots of attention which he will return.

PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi, I’m Butters 🐾🧈 I’m a 3-month-old Boxer mix with a BIG heart, a goofy personality, and a whole lot of love to give I may be mostly blind and deaf, but that doesn’t stop me from living life to the fullest. I’m a happy little puppy who loves to play, cuddle, and just be near my people 💛 Before I was rescued, I was found all alone outside a restaurant. It’s likely my previous owners didn’t want me because I’m a little different—but their loss is going to be someone else’s greatest gift, because I’m truly something special I’m playful, loving, and full of personality. I do great in the home and love being around other dogs. In fact, I really *need* a dog sibling to help guide me through life. Since I can’t see or hear very well, I rely on other dogs to help me understand the world, build confidence, and feel safe Sometimes I might play a little too roughly or miss social cues, but I’m just learning! With a patient, friendly dog companion, I’ll continue to grow into the best boy ever 🐾 🏡 My ideal home: • A fenced yard where I can safely explore and play • At least one confident, friendly dog sibling • A patient's family willing to help me learn and build a routine • A home where someone is around often to guide and love me I’m still just a baby, so I’ll need consistency, structure, and patience while I learn how to “dog.” But I promise—I am so worth it 💌 A word from my foster: “Butters is still settling in, but he’s already showing what a wonderful puppy he is. With time, guidance, and love, he’s going to make an amazing addition to a very lucky family.” If you’re looking for a resilient, loving, one-of-a-kind best friend… I’m your boy 🐾🧈 Adoption FEE: $600, which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. Hazel is the shy little shadow who looks to her sister for confidence. She'll surprise you with sweet drive-by kisses and is making progress every day. Margo is a bit more outgoing. She loves fluffy blankets, cozy naps, and quietly cuddling beside you as she learns to trust. They're working on house training and leash walking, do well with dogs their size, and would thrive in a calm, patient home. They haven't been tested with cats or children. Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process and to complete a foster/adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Meet Michelle ❤️ Age: 1 year Weight: 51 lbs Breed: Pit Bull Mix Health: Fully vetted, heartworm negative Michelle is a beautiful young girl with a gentle heart and so much love to give. While she can be a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn't take long for her sweet, affectionate personality to shine through. Once she trusts you, she's happiest curled up beside you for snuggles—especially if she gets to share your bed! Michelle is a smart girl who learns quickly and enjoys having chew toys to keep her entertained. She's house trained, walks nicely on a leash, and isn't much of a destructive chewer. Mealtime is one of her favorite parts of the day, so she does best with a slow-feeder bowl to help pace herself. One thing Michelle would happily tell you if she could? She's not a fan of crates! She much prefers being close to her people, soaking up all the love and attention she can get. Michelle has been diagnosed with a Grade III heart murmur. Our rescue is committed to getting her the very best veterinary care and will continue investigating the cause and treatment options. Despite this, Michelle is a happy, playful girl who enjoys life and is ready to find a family willing to open their heart to her. Michelle is currently looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home where she can relax, be loved, and continue receiving the care she needs. Our rescue will provide veterinary care while she's in foster. Could Michelle be the missing piece of your family? If you'd like to foster, foster-to-adopt, or learn more about this sweet girl, please complete an application through our website. She can't wait to meet her forever people. ❤️ Located in Pinellas County, Florida.

Story
Meet Brownie — the sweetest girl with a heart of gold! This 9-year-old Staffordshire mix was rescued along with her seven puppies and proved to be an amazing mama. Now that her pups have all found homes, it’s Brownie’s turn to be loved and spoiled. Brownie is mellow, affectionate, and loves her walks (but can be leash reactive) and cuddle time. She’s house trained, smart, and eager to please, happiest when she’s close to her humans. She would thrive as the only pet soaking up all the love, but could also do well with calm, gentle dogs. After giving so much to others, Brownie is ready to finally have a family of her own — one that will cherish her as much as she’ll cherish them Fenced in yard is a must. Must be experienced with the breed. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoptable-pets/brownie Located in Pinellas County, Florida
