I'm not sure why because I am super friendly, love visitors, and have a few dog friends that I enjoy playing with. Running in a big yard would be my dream come true. I can't wait to meet you!  I was born around 05/2015, I weigh 55 pounds and my adoption fee is $250.  I have a thyroid issue, so I have to take my thyroid medicine twice a day.   This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cin cinnati, Lexington KY, or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225 . We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations. Meet Bubba!  At just under a year old, this 45 pounds Shar Pei / Pittie Mix turns heads wherever he goes. Best described as half sugar, half spice....  Bubba is sweet, playful, and full of impish mischief. He is house broken, crate trained, and walks well on leash.  If bored and left to his own devices, however, he will chew his way through your shoe collection and steal every turkey sandwich left unattended on your counter tops.  An active family that understands the puppy mindset and isn't afraid to instill rules and boundaries is a must.   Outside the home Bubba LOVES to explore and would make a great hiking or camping partner.  He loves other dogs, but has a rough and tumble play style that some may not appreciate.  A dog that can tolerate him being the annoying little brother would be a must.  Overall, Bubba is a medium energy dog.  He loves to run so no apartment living for this little nugget.  A large yard and a furry sibling to play with would be ideal.  As for kids, Bubba is still a bit mouthy when he plays so older children would be best.   If you think he may be the perfect addition to your family, reach out and schedule your private meet and greet with him today!  December 5, 2023, 6:29 am
