Meet **Callie** 💕 — a one-of-a-kind Shar Pei mix with wrinkles, charm, and a heart full of love. Arriving Jan. 31. Callie is a **2-year-old, spayed female** who came to rescue as a stray, but you’d never know it by her happy, affectionate personality. She’s truly *that* nice — the kind of dog whose company you just genuinely enjoy. At around **50 lbs** (and maybe a little more now), she’s a solid, snuggly girl who makes a wonderful family dog. Callie is **great with dogs, kids, and cats** — and we mean *really* great with cats. She currently lives with **four indoor cats** and does just fine with them both inside and out. She’s very social, very lovable, and always seems to have a smile on her face. She does have a bit of an adventurous spirit and would happily roam the neighborhood if given the chance, so a **fenced yard** would be ideal for this curious explorer. Like most smart dogs, if she gets bored and left alone too long, she may decide your personal belongings are fair game for entertainment — enrichment toys and structure will be her best friends! Callie is still learning her basics and hasn’t had much formal training, but she has **mastered sitting for food** and is eagerly waiting for an adopter who will continue helping her shine with more commands and confidence. She also has **dry skin**, which has already improved a lot with better care.
