You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi my name is Wrinkles but my foster mom calls me Cooper or Coop. I'm a 10-month-old Shar Pei. I'm very smart. I'm learning commands quickly such as sit, no, and in. I'm crate trained and I sleep quietly through the night. I'm good with cats, dogs and kids. I'm a puppy, so I still jump, but I'm learning! I love attention and playing with my stuffed animals! I enjoy activities outside such as walks, listening to live music with my foster mom, and car rides. Are you my forever family?   Completion of an Adoption Application via our website (www.RescueCrew.org) is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in the adoption process. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. Meet Nugget, the charismatic boy who is small but mighty! This adorable pup with his scrunchy face is full of personality and loves to chat it up with anyone who will listen. Don't be fooled by his size, though, because Nugget doesn't take any guff from his big brothers and knows how to hold his ground. If you're looking for a spirited and talkative companion with an irresistible, scrunchy face, Nugget could be the perfect match for you! Nugget is estimated to be 7 weeks old and weighs 5lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. Please note that because we require a home visit at the time of adoption we can only place animals in homes within a 100 mile radius of Minneapolis. Story

Canelo is a rescue from Minneapolis Animal Control. He had a previously family who abused and abandoned him. While he is the most loving and cuddly boy, he needs further assistance with training (kennel and potty), which I am sadly not able to afford. He does not do well with other dogs but is good with people. He needs to be gradually introduced, otherwise he may come off as scary since he does growl. He is currently an apartment dog but needs a fenced backyard to be able to run freely. I have not witnessed him around children, but due to his separation anxiety, I believe he will fit best in a family style home, with more than one owner to take care of him. He is the sweetest dog, and it breaks my heart to have to rehome, but I want the absolute best for him.

Daisy Mae loves attention and loves playing with her toys. She's estimated to be about 5 years old. She's a active dog and likes the outdoors, so having time to take her out for a walk, jog, hike, and dog park is important. She is crate trained if you wish for her stay in one when you leave the home, but does well free roaming. Just make sure you give her attention before you leave and her energy has been used. We came home to our remote being chewed up because we didn't take her out for her morning walk one time. She knows basic commands, sit, stay, eat, kennel, out, down, potty, outside, etc. She rarely barks. We've only heard her bark 2-5 times since we've had her and cute whimpering barks only when she's dreaming at night. She's shy to strangers but opens up with time. She does great at the vet clinic and groomers. We're looking for someone who has the time and energy to love her. She is better being an only dog in the home.

I am gentle when taking treats and a very loving boy. I enjoy pets, laying on the couch next to you, and being brushed. I am good with other dogs and enjoy playing fetch.
