Meet Zane! This handsome Shar Pei/ Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) mix is bursting with energy and enthusiasm. Zane absolutely loves to play and would thrive with an active family who enjoys staying on the move. He does well on walks and would be over the moon to have a large, secure yard where he can stretch his legs and run! Zane came to the shelter as a stray, but he's shown himself to be a social guy who appears to do well with some of our dogs. He does however, have a strong prey drive and would do best in a home without cats. With his playful personality and athletic build, Zane would be an excellent companion for someone looking for a fun, loyal and adventurous buddy!

No• Location: hudsonville, Michigan• Energy level (high/med/low)? High• Bio:Hi! My name is cupid a.k.a. Cupimayo. I am a sweet, high energy boy. I came from the south with a broken left femur that has been repaired. I still have a little bit of a limp and I’m working on range of motion exercises to get my leg back into tiptop shape. Having an injured leg has never slowed me down ?I love to run in the backyard and I am learning to take walks with others on a leash. I definitely have a lot of energy and love to play with other dogs and people. I am good with cats as long as there’s no food involved. I do have kind of a high pray drive and will chase and go after chickens and small animals. If they’re safely locked in their enclosures, there is no problem. As much as I love other dogs, I am a bit protective of my food and treats. I do best if I can eat away from others and food is picked up after we are done eating. Toys are not a problem. I don’t mind sharing with my friends. I would probably do best with a dog that has a lot of energy and is willing to be a little submissive as I like to be top dog. Right now I am living with three other dogs and three cats and do great as long as no food is down when we’re all around playing. I love to spend time outside, but am a great napper and snuggle buddy.All in all, I am a tiny little guy with a big personality. Who’s looking for a forever home with someone who doesn’t mind that I might be a little impaired in my left rear leg and putting a little effort into helping me recover. Nala came to the shelter emaciated, after spending much of her life locked in a crate, with painful urine-scalded feet and legs. Despite everything she endured, she never lost her gentle spirit or her desire to trust people. She’s had professional training, giving her a solid foundation, and she wants so badly to do the right thing.After waiting at the shelter for quite some time, Nala finally found a home — only to be returned recently due to her adopter experiencing serious health issues.
