Despite everything she endured, she never lost her gentle spirit or her desire to trust people. She’s had professional training, giving her a solid foundation, and she wants so badly to do the right thing.After waiting at the shelter for quite some time, Nala finally found a home — only to be returned recently due to her adopter experiencing serious health issues. Through no fault of her own, she’s back, confused and waiting again.Nala has already survived more than any dog should have to. 🥰 This beautiful girl is Cocoa. Cocoa is 6 years old and has a pure velvet coat. She is very smart and PERFECTLY house trained. She has not had any accidents, has no desire to get on furniture, she is curious, but not at all destructive.  🧸 She is also a very gentle dog that loves her toys, but does not destroy them. She can “sit” and give you her paw like a champ. Cocoa would love an active family that would take her for car rides, hikes and runs. Miss CeCe was picked up on Center Street back in May 2026 after being on the run for about a week. She came to us with a leash and collar still attached and we have to ask, was she dumped? Did she take off from her owner and they didn't know where to look? We've had no luck finding her owner and we can't believe no one is missing her! CeCe is definitely shy and scared of new people, but over the past three months, her personality has really blossomed. She has found a friend in one of the other pound dogs, and based on how much she has bonded with Kane, we think CeCe is going to need another dog in the home to keep her strong and confident. We would love to do meet and greets with your kids and other dogs and move miss CeCe into her next chapter in life. We have fallen hard for this girl and can't wait for you to meet her!

Everyone needs a “lil bit” of puppy sass in their life, right?!Lil Bit is a very young dog looking for a do-over! At just 6-7 months old, she has already been through quite a lot. She has definitely spent her fair share of time outside, whether tied up or in an enclosure, as you can tell by her severe fly bites. Luckily, this isn’t anything some TLC can’t fix!Lil Bit is goofy and lives life at top speed! She wastes no time getting comfortable and would likely acclimate to the correct home rather easily. She is still a puppy, so she’s gonna need some work on her manners and basic puppy training, but she has her whole life ahead!Lil Bit is open to meeting your kids and dogs! She would likely love to have a playmate to keep her occupied. We were told she doesn’t like cats but can always test her ourselves. If you’d like to meet her, please stop on by anytime during open hours 12-6 during the week and 12-4 on Saturdays!
