Story
Domino is a 4 yr old mixed breed.  He has some traits/characteristics as well as looks of Boxer, Hound and Rottweiler.  He is around 56 lbs, playful, confident and is a dominant male so he MUST meet any new housemates before adoption will be approved.  Our suggestion would be a female dog as a companion however he could do fine alone as well. It si unknown how he is with cats and children. He is scheduled to be neutered on 12/6/2022. Here is a link to his TikTok video: https://www.tiktok.com/@caninemoon/video/7163805181610675499?is_copy_url=1&is_from_webapp=v1   Anyone interested in him can meet him at the shelter and complete an application if you want to be considered. Story
Mac is 9 years old. My wife and I mid-wifed him and his sister, and my wife just had to keep them. My wife passed and I am traveling a lot now and have run out of options for dog sitting, and can't afford to keep them in a kennel. He needs a good home with people that will pay a lot of attention to him. He is a very affectionate dog and has a lot of personality.

Story
2-3 year old boxer mix, good with other dogs, not cat tested. Rhett came to us as an emaciated stray. it is suspected he was dumped. He loves people, loves car rides, listens well to correction, and wants to please. He's house broken, and doesn’t chew anything. He does like to take lots of naps! Love frozen peanut butter kongs and yogurt, banana and peanut butter frozen treats. He is very cuddly, love belly rubs, people and going on car rides. He enjoys playing with ball toys too! He has been very easy to teach new things, like sit, down, stay and rug! We are working on leash training now. He is very curious and wants more attention. He doesn’t like pouring rain and very windy days.

Story
Calling for all BOXER LOVERS!! Fallon is a super sweet senior special needs lady looking for her perfect fit home! Could you be that caretaker that she needs? This most beautiful, loving, kind, sweet natured, adoring, grateful, gal has had a tough life and is looking for a soft landing. She is over 8 years old, and was very, very skinny and unable to stand on her rear legs when she was dumped at our shelter. She had horrible teeth, ear infections, diarrhea, and eye ulcers all holding her back. With some time and TLC and medical care, Fallon has bloomed like a spring flower. Her eyes and ears have healed but will require lifelong artificial tears applied to eyes to keep them healthy. She was spayed and had her teeth cleaned and some rotten ones pulled. She has put on wt. and started walking and even running short distances but is still very wobbly and unsteady on her rear legs due to spinal arthritis. She will drag her toes so a yard is a must for exercise to build up her hind end muscles. She has rubber booties if she must walk on asphalt. She can manage 2-3 stairs with help but flat, good footing surfaces are best. She is great with cats, kids, and other mild mannered dogs that aren't too rough. She is crate trained and housebroken but can have accidents in house if left too long alone. Fallon is currently in foster with our vet and she would be more than happy to talk more about this wonderful couch cuddler!

These pups are in Marion, Ohio too!

Story
Rayne is a kind-hearted dog who is looking for her forever home. She seems to be housebroken and knows her basic commands. It may take her a minute to warm up to new people, but she is just nervous here at the shelter. She plays well with children, is dog selective, and will need a home without cats. She'd love to find a home where she could get lots of exercise and lots of attention. She is a quiet girl who has a friendly demeanor! We were told that she likes riding in cars and would love to tag along if you'd let her. Eleanor is a very sweet girl! She loves people and is great with kids, but might be too high energy for young children. She seems to enjoy other dogs and did very well in her previous foster home. She will need a home without cats. She is energetic, playful, and entertaining! Keep in mind, her energy can get her into trouble; she can clear a 6 foot chain link fence! Eleanor would thrive with a large privacy fence and lots of room to roam!Age: 2Housebroken: UnknownActivity Level: HighKids: Likes kids!
