Ollie is a gentle soul with a heart full of warmth and a calm, dignified presence. This handsome pup enjoys affection and leans into pets like it’s his favorite thing in the world. A great travel companion, Ollie rides beautifully in the car—quiet, relaxed, and happy to go wherever life takes him. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and carries himself with a friendly, regal composure that makes him a pleasure to be around. Ollie has a medium energy level: he enjoys his walks and playtime, but afterwards, he’s the picture of tranquility—content to lounge peacefully by your side. If you’re looking for a loyal, well-mannered dog with an air of calm confidence and a loving heart, Ollie might just be your perfect match. Story
Sasha is a gorgeous 5-year-old Shar-Pei mix with an energetic personality. She loves to run around outside in the yard and can be very friendly when she warms up to someone. It takes her time to trust a human companion and she can be very particular about where she is touched. In her first home, Sasha did well with older children, and would be compatible in a home with kids 12 and up. She tends to be protective about her space and is not friendly with all the dogs Four Footed Friends has seen her interact with. With the proper time and patience Sasha would make a dog owner very lucky and happy. She also knows basic commands like sit, stay, and come. Meet Sugar Cube! She’s our new resident gardener here at CPHS. She enjoys pruning our trees and bushes on the regular. She can’t stand a yard that’s not properly manicured ??.She is 5 years old and a Pitbull Mix. She was an unclaimed stray so we can’t tell you much about her past. Sugar Cube tested well with dogs; she will present unsure at first meet, but then gets into play mode. She absolutely hates cats. She can live with kids. Her selling point? Her butt wiggle. You can’t live without it.** Sugar Cube is in our care in Altoona PA. She is available for adoption. Each animal gets microchipped, 4DX tested, spayed/neutered and vaccinated. The adoption fee covers those costs. Adoption fees are listed on the application. An application must be filled out in order to visit with any dog or cat. They can be found on our website www.centralpahumane.org under the Adopt A Pet tab or at the shelter. Our animals are posted on Facebook and Petfinder when time permits. A Petfinder inquiry is not an application, and they may not be responded to. We can only accept so many applications for each animal. We do adopt out of state, but we cannot hold the animal. **PA Kennel License #1333.
