Story
Mickey is an energetic snugglebug, at only 3.5yrs old and 40lbs he still has plenty of puppy energy for playtime and zoomies but also loves nothing more than tiring himself out and coming in for and snuggle sesh. He loves walks, car rides, and playing tug of war - but also can self entertain with a good rope or stuffed animal friend.
He is fully potty trained and a big fan of the doggy door, but will scratch to let you know he needs to go if the door is closed. He would needs a home with a yard, as he is definitely an outdoorsman! He is not fond of his crate, so we are working on his crate training.
He is very smart and food motivated (especially raspberries!), he knows sit, stay, come, lay down, and hush it - he is VERY responsive to no-no, as he aims to always please his person.
New things can sometimes be a little scary, so introducing him to new places and people, but he is very quick to overcome and warm up to his next adventure.
He does well with bigger and calmer dogs, and has not interacted with children directly but is very curious and observant when they pass by the yard.
He has a happy growl during playtime that can be misinterpreted by humans but the resident dogs speak his language and don’t take offense to his tone, they play right back!

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.
Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.
Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
