I am your smart and loyal `tom boy` pup. Playing fetch is one of my favorite things to do. I am a quick learner, and love to explore new things, including toys. Of course I know how to sit for treats, and who does not like to cuddle. What I don`t like is being in my kennel. The strange noise you might hear walking by my kennel has nothing to do with ME...HARMONY. So ignore the screech...take me out of my kennel and let me show you my loving personality. Rumples is a 4-month-old Shar-Pei mix with a big personality and even bigger heart. This playful, energetic pup loves to run—first thing in the morning she bolts into the backyard with pure joy. She’s an explorer at heart, always curious and never afraid to check out something new. When she’s not busy playing, Rumples is a snuggler who loves to curl up close and soak up attention. She has done wonderfully with kennel training—she sleeps quietly through the night in her crate and has been left alone for up to 7 hours without any issues. She actually enjoys her kennel and thinks of it as her safe space. Rumples is also doing very well with potty training. She hasn’t had accidents in her kennel, and she’s learning the ropes of house training quickly. With her mix of adventurous spirit and cuddly affection, Rumples is the best of both worlds: a playful puppy who can also be your sweet companion. Imagine if your eyes hurt so badly it was difficult to open them. This is the case with our sweet Azul who arrived to SNIPSA with bilateral entropion and a cherry eye. As a result of the eyelids rolling inward, his eyelashes would rub against his corneas making it super painful. Fortunately, we were able to perform corrective surgery and now Azul looks like a “movie star.” Well at least he can see the world with ease. His vibrant personality has come to life - romping around with the other dogs, tossing his toys, and just being a lover!! This roly-poly pup is also crate trained, potty trained, and treat-motivated. He keeps his kennel clean, but he always prefers to be by your side. We’re confident that Azul will find a forever home in no time. Otis was saved from being slated for euthanasia at a local shelter. His skin was in terrible condition due to past neglect, and he seemed a little bit haunted by his experiences, but the great news is that his body and spirit are already on the mend. Otis is an incredibly loving dog with a soul full of gratitude. He always presents a gentle and friendly temperament, even when faced with uncomfortable situations like getting shots and medicated baths. He bonded with both of his foster parents right away, too.
