Hazel was dumped in October of 2024 at my workplace. She had really bad mange and I knew I couldn’t keep her but I needed to help her. With all the right medication her skin cleared up and her personality started to show. She is about a year and a half and is the happiest, sweetest dog. She is more on the hyper side and doesn’t fully understand how to play with dog toys but loves to play tag with people and other dogs. She is kennel trained but can also be a little mischievous as she loves to find ways to escape. She needs training but is so smart and just needs consistency.

Imagine if your eyes hurt so badly it was difficult to open them. This is the case with our sweet Azul who arrived to SNIPSA with bilateral entropion and a cherry eye. As a result of the eyelids rolling inward, his eyelashes would rub against his corneas making it super painful. Fortunately, we were able to perform corrective surgery and now Azul looks like a “movie star.” Well at least he can see the world with ease. His vibrant personality has come to life - romping around with the other dogs, tossing his toys, and just being a lover!! This roly-poly pup is also crate trained, potty trained, and treat-motivated. He keeps his kennel clean, but he always prefers to be by your side. We’re confident that Azul will find a forever home in no time. Hello, I have recently moved and my dog does not get along with other dogs in the home. I have had Gus since he was 7weeks old and he has been a great part of my family. He is currently 6 and his birthday is October 29th. He has been loved by me and my many siblings. He has been around kids 3 years and up with no issues. He loves walks and squeaky toys. He will come with kennel, his favorite toys, and a harness. He needs to be in a single dog home with a family who can put up with his goofy self. He is fixed, has all his shots, and potty trained. It is the hardest decision I am making to let him go but I want him to live a life outside of a kennel. No issues besides the fact he doesn’t get along well with other dogs. If you consider taking him into your home please don’t be shy to give him hugs and kisses. He will never turn them down.
